After taking a couple games off, let's see if I can throw something good together for Week 10.

River Rats @ Grumpy Knights - The Knights will be downright downtrodden after what will surely be another 200+ point loss. This could get real ugly, real quick. River Rats 255 - Knights 0

Avengers @ Lizard Lickers - The Lizard Lickers are on a mission...escape A6! They are definitely in a position to do so based on their play this season. If the Avengers can control the clock, they could keep this one close, though I expect the Lizard Lickers passing game to be dominant. Lizard Lickers 45 - Avengers 17

Daggers @ Fanboys - One of the big questions in the East is, what's happened to the Fanboys? The focus they've shown in previous seasons is gone. A loss in this game could be a dagger in the Fanboy's playoff heart. Daggers 37 - Fanboys 27

Fury @ NERC - The Red Celtics are a team no team in the playoff hunt wants to face. Despite being overmatched in most every category, these guys use the luck of the Red Sox Nation to compete. They'll keep it close, but just can't contain the Fury. Fury 27 - Red Celtics 20

Badgers @ Villagers - Oh how the mighty have fallen...In previous season this would have been a great game. Too bad. Villagers 72 - Badgers 3

Steel Riders @ Bearphins - The battle of this season's BBB promotions promises to be a wild ride. Both teams need a win to stay in solid position for a playoff spot. Which will prevail? The Steel Riders potent run game, or the Bearphins strong air attack? Honestly, too close to call. GOTW Steel Riders 24 - Bearphins 24

Energy @ Vanguards - Viridia is hoping to get back into the playoffs after two disappointing seasons. A win against the lifeless Energy will move them back in that direction. Vanguards 31 - Energy 17

Giants Monkey @ Rex - Two teams who have been at the receiving end of beatdown after beatdown go toe-to-toe. In this game, one team will get to deliver the beating while the other has to take yet another. Congrats, Rex! Rex 148 - Giant Monkey 0

Overall, a very nice slate of games in the East, all things considered.

Wow, I don't think we have ever been predicted to tie before haha. Hopefully we can pull it out in the end.

I see it going either way by a FG or less. Just can't bring myself to pick one side over another. A tie would be cool.

I have a feeling we'll see lots of movement this offseason. The question will be, does Bort move people/teams within their "tree" or do a complete reorg.

I see 3 teams in Pro who need to drop (at least), at least 4 in AAA, probably 8 in AA, and 8 in A. I hope at least SOME of our current rivalries survive the upcoming gut-fix.

It would be a shame to see A6 gutted and reorganized. We have quite the history going here.

I mean, I say get rid of any teams with a -6 or more scouting report differential from the league average. That would be teams like Idaho Rex, NEW YORK GIANTS MONKEYS, Grumpy Knights, Mile High Mustangs, SS Shockers, SB Hawks and the Sconnie Badgers. It would still leave teams like Seabrook Energy and Big Bear Avalanche, however.

I hope that we'll be promoted, along with another 3-4 teams from our division at least. I expect that the pro league will be the least affected, followed by AAA and AA. I think most A leagues will be completely reshuffled though, stocked with rebuilding teams, and the BBB league will be full of gutted teams (which will make it more interesting for all involved down there).

Great game, Avengers. You guys really gave us a lot more interesting game than I'd have liked today, forcing us to score the game-winner in the last 2 minutes. Arlington has kept it close against everybody. It's hard to believe you're only 5-5.
