That's a good point, I like the tactical aspects to these new boosts. Adds an element of luck to the schedules as well.

That's a good point, I like the tactical aspects to these new boosts. Adds an element of luck to the schedules as well.


Yea, nothing like 4 levels of SP to gurantee you a win even if you wouldn't win it normally.

Not so sure it guarantees a win - depends on the level of opposition, if two teams are roughly equal then it probably will give you the win (presuming your tactics are sound). However if you're an under levelled team it can make the game more even. There was nothing to stop you from using your boosts unless you're putting it into equipment - but thats a kind of perma-boost anyway. If a team wins due to using a boost then I say congrats to them - it's not easy getting a teamful of people on the same wavelength.

Yes you beat us, but you did not destroy us by any means. First game of the season and we had two very costly AI errors in that game. The yardage in that game for both teams was very similar, with us outgaining SF just a little bit. The AI errors cost us some points. I'm not complaining, a loss is a loss and those AI errors were all our fault, but if was hardly what you claim in to be.

I would expect a much closer game now...

Yeah I've never been a part of the anti-Voltron bandwagon but lately we've seen an awful lot of crying from him. Is he becoming the T.O. of Southeast Asia?

As far as I'm concerned, Voltron is entitled to his opinion. I think a lot of the backlash against him stems from his position, although I'm sure some of you have developed personal grudges against him. I haven't, so this comment isn't intended to bash him. But I don't understand how the temporary boosts account for four levels of SP. Unless I'm wrong (I've never used them personally), the temp boost gives the player 5 temporary SP + 1 permanent SP. So shouldn't it only account for slightly more than 1 level worth of SP? If I'm wrong, please clarify.

It's +5 to any skill no matter how much it costs, and you get +1 SP to use.
