Sorry I missed last week's games, was busy trying to prepare for the Benitos in the World Cup game.

1. USAORG Legionnaires: Taking out TLGoT was a huge win for the Legs, who have yet to play one of the 2 gutted teams, but that pad stat game is coming up next. If that doesn't work we'll just go with the old "biased opinion" excuse.

2. Zambia Zombies: The other undefeated team in Elephant has a HUGE matchup with TLGOT this week (Game of the week for sure). Winner of that game claims the #2 spot for next week for sure.

3. TLGoT: No disrespect intended, it's just easier to type out TLGoT. Tough loss to the Legs this week moves them down to #3. Same as above, if you want to get back to #2, this is the week to do it.

4. Tsavo Maneaters: Only 3 losses come at the hands of the 3 teams ranked above them, no reason to rank them anywhere else.

5. Russian Tractor: Only "bad" loss was to GRI, otherwise they've done what they need to do. Yet another quality promoted team to the APL.

6. Babylon Bombshells: Definitely not the "by the book" pick to go here, but I BELIEVE in ya Byang (don't let me down). All 5 losses have been to the teams ranked above them, so can't fault them for having a hard schedule for the first half of the season.

7. Cairo Emperors: Loss to ABD was huge to me, but the big win over GRI keeps you just barely above ABD imo.

8. Angola Blood Diamonds: Big win over Cairo jumps them up the list. Very tough remaining schedule though, will need to pull some more upsets to make the playoffs I think.

The Rest:
Durban Donkeys: No big surprise losses for them this season, just a hard schedule in the first half of the season. There loss to Cairo and win over GRI is outweighed by ABD's win over Cairo and loss to GRI in my book. Otherwise I could see moving them to #8.

Ghana Rhea Infection: Even the best name in all of Africa can't keep you ranked above Durban with your loss to them.

No change in the rest of the pack...

Nice write up, Hokie - thanks!

We are still working out some kinks - but I'm hoping we can squeak out a playoff appearance.
