Warrior General Games

I find it very interesting, after the last few games I've begun to think that it's a very real possibility that Huskers Illustrated won't make the playoffs this season.

The #7 and #8 teams currently are one game ahead and both own the tiebreak.

I haven't closely examined the remaining strength of schedule for all the squads, but I know that HI has several tough games left on their schedule.

I never would have thought it possible pre-season frankly. I would have penciled them in as a top 4 seed.

Yea their fall from the elite is somethign thats really caught me off guard as well...Reminds me a bit of Horde last season(all due respect) but the Horde were always capable, and showed that down the stretch.
Im hoping the Bugs can get it together and add some more flavor into the playoffs...If they were on-top fo their game as they usually are then it would be an insane playoff race....Kinda is anyway.

Either way, definately tough to see one of the big-boys go down, this weeks loss to GG was big, I know Canes was trying to turn it around here.

Yeah, it really doesn't make any sense. Did they lose key players? Was their a simulation change that killed them? Did they do a terrible job with their boosts? Is it their tactics? Or just really bad luck? Bizarre, really.

We are struggling to find out what has gone wrong. We are the exact same team and even got a better HB. I'm afraid that it's our tactics. Most of the tactics we use are molded to our team from other AI's of teams that either I gm or others on the team GM.

Last night we had a game against the Lost City Idols, an undefeated team that is very good and we smashed them. I thought that they were similar to the Gladiators and assumed that we would win today, but by a close margin. I was dead wrong.

What energy does your teams end wtih? I'm starting to think we may have a stamina problem. All of our builds are solid in my opinion and we've had guidelines the entire time we've been a team.

We have really fallen from grace. I'm afraid when Bort restructures the leagues that We'll not be in A6 any more because of our shitty record. I think we may just be having bad luck, but that luck hasn't run out so I'm starting to think it may just be the owner...

Our energy is pretty spread across the board but, for the most part, everyone is between 60 and 80. Some positions are lower (HB) and others are higher (DT/NT), but that may be build related.

I wouldn't be worried about being sent down. Your average level should keep you where you are. In fact, I don't think Bort plans to look at records at all to prevent a good team from throwing the season to ensure relegation (and some would do it). Hang in there, and quit being so hard on yourself. You have a very good team (you've kicked our asses repeatedly), you've just got to find that missing piece.

We brought in Arles form the Idols and I'm hoping that he can make a few adjustments that will help us.

And we finish with around 60-80 Stamina as well. There's some variations like you said, but I'm assuming we're average in end of game stamina.

Yeah, pretty crazy. I can't imagine that you'd be sent down in leagues at all though. That's going to be for gutted teams and terrible records.

That's good. I'm hoping we can make the playoffs and atleast have a chance to scare a #1/2 seed

All you guys need is to play a game against us. Every time we meet, you smash us. That should get you back on track.

In my mind, you guys were the #1 returning seed to your conference. I thought we'd fall off a little (not this much) but I guess this is why we play the games.

GG Bugs, you guys played alot better than the score would indicate. My D played well, im pissed at our O but a win is a win. Good-luck the rest of the way.

Yah, the game seemed a lot closer. Mostly because we were able to cause a bunch of TO's. We'd get drives, but stall. You guys had a couple huge plays and that really made the difference. After us stopping you and then scoring, I thought we might have a chance.....then you owned us lol.
