Probable the same reason that Vancouver is...sell off get alot of cash build the stadium get regulated to some crappy league next season where they are placing gutted and sold back teams together and start off in great shape because they'll have a big stadium for income.

Although Vancouver had 16.6 million and are now down too 9.7 million. So the money went somewhere I suppose. They are paying their players pretty minimal since they are only 3 or lower. It wasn't to stadium improvements because their seating has not improved.

At least my understanding is the owner didn't feel he had the time to properly run the team.

Then it should go to CPU and not remain owned by a player then?

I am pretty sure the money went into new construction, which will not become visible until it is built.

EEA1 will become a dumping ground for guts next season.

I am wondering that myself but why not go ahead and build up the current stadium to it's max since you still have plenty of cash?

4 corners + 2 endzones cost 7 million in total if I recall correctly. So that's most probably what Vancouver have done to get where they are with their cash. They will be in a great position next season.

The are number of different reasons why I chose to sell the players on the team.

Most important is that due to real life stuff I will have less time running the team.
So I will reshape it in a way that will make it less time consuming to run.

I think a lot of owners are under the mistaken impression that buying seats during the season is not a good investment. In fact it is a great investment, even late in the season, particularly if you will be hosting playoff games.

Yea he could have at the very least sold them out when he had good fan base numbers before the loses. Then he'd atleast had them at the stadium for concession sells as well. Made even more money than he will now.
