Upset wins by the Horses and the Flames shake things up a bit.

1 (+1) The Elephant Riders 9-0-0 – Will find out if they are worthy shortly with the Demons & Metalheads up in the next two games.
2 (+3) Singapore Flames 7-2-0 – What can you say, they beat the Rush – handily.
3 (-2) San Fran Gold Rush 8-1-0 – Must bounce back against a good Toys team.
4 (-1) Bangkok Blue Demons 8-1-0 – Get the first shot at the new #1.
5 (-1) Sault Ste Marie Metalheads 8-1-0 – Bye this week.
6 (-) Thailand Cheap Toys 7-2-0 – Here’s their chance. Did they catch the Rush at a good time or bad time?
7 (+3) Garut Fire Horses 4-5-0 – Big win over the Waves and fairly light schedule down the stretch.
8 (-1) SBI Waves 4-5-0 – Will need some big wins to hold onto last playoff spot.
9 (-1) The Pretenders 4-5-0 – Only the Rush and the Waves left on their schedule.
10 (-1) Kyoto Samurai 4-5-0 – Too many heavyweights left on their schedule to expect a playoff berth.
11 (+1) Midway Maulers 3-6-0 – Big win last week, but it was the Envelopes.
12 (-1) Vietnam Villains 3-6-0 – Not happening this season.
13 (-) Thung Yai Tigers 2-7-0 – The latest to take the Pride out of Kapres.
14 (-) Manila Envelopes 1-8-0 – The win over the Pride may cost them a relegation.
15 (-) Kapres Pride 0-9-0 – One more game before the “big” Pride v. Yellow Jackets matchup.
16 (-) Da Nang Yellow Jackets 0-9-0 – See above.

Alpha

Some big matchups within the top 5 this week.

1 (-) Mongolian Horde 9-0-0 – Nothing left to say - for now.
2 (-) Algeria Addiction 8-1-0 – One more bye week upcoming.
3 (-) Krungthep Garudas 9-0-0 – 2nd real test of the year vs. the Hookers coming up.
4 (-) Cambodia Mountain Men 8-1-0 – Get their shot at the Horde this week.
5 (+1) Ho Chi Minh Hookers 6-3-0 – Have struggled offensively lately, not good with the Garudas in town.
6 (+2) Salford Storm 4-5-0 – Seem to be making a second half surge.
7 (-2) Pontianak Firebirds 5-4-0 – Need to bounce back quickly from loss to the Horde.
8 (+1) Phuket Water Dragons 3-6-0 – Fiesty against the Mountain Men, but need wins.
9 (-) Tibet Psychonauts 4-4-1 – Surprise playoff team?
10 (+1) Pingree Grove Pits 3-6-0 – Better than the rest of the slugs.
11 (+1) Manila Cyberballers 2-7-0 – Scary, they beat the team formerly called the Lightning by 130. A week ago that meant something.
12 (-2) Columbus Black Knights 4-4-1 – Their true CPU colors starting to show.
13 (-) Mount Fiji Dogs 1-8-0 – Who let the Dogs out?
14 (-) Padang Lightning 4-5-0 – Sad. So sad.
15 (-) AFEF Hooligans 1-8-0 – They didn’t give up 200 this week.
16 (-) Hiroshima Radiation 0-9-0 – They did.

The Cyberballers have been getting better and better. I'd be shocked if they aren't a playoff team next season.

Nice write-up.

Really? 1 win is enough to put them over us even though we beat SSM and Bangkok easily?

On this given week, hard to argue that the Flames aren't ahead of the Rush.
