The forums are kinda boring so i figured i throw out what i think and see what everyone has to say

Top 4, no order

My Cebu Matadors- had a disappointing season last year, but i think we straightened things out...
Key Wins: RIVERSIDE and Monte Cristo
Key Losses: Mean Steel and Toungoo; Dropped both games 21-20

Vietnam Veterans- Lost a good game to the KINGS, but i cant see them losing more than 2 games the rest of the season
Key Wins: Mean Steel and Toungoo
Key Loss: RIVERSIDE

Monte Cristo Avengers- Lost the first game of the season, but has been a hot streak sense
Key Wins: Southern and Portland
Key Loss: Cebu

Southern Wasters- I feel they have played one of the toughest schedules for the first half of the season, but they still got though games against Cebu and the Vets
Key Wins: Toungoo, Mean Steel, and RIVERSIDE
Key Loss: Monte Cristo

Playoff Bound

Toungoo Tigers- No disrespect meant to them, they beat my team on 2 big plays. They have really turned the team around from last year, but i feel like they are still a little behind
Keys Win: Cebu
Keys losses: Vets and Southern

RIVERSIDE KINGS- Off to a slow start this season, i think BONES waited a little longer to boost than the rest of us, but they should get back to their winning ways
Key Win: Vets
Key Losses: Cebu, Southern, and Hong Kong

Mean Street MetalHeads- Another team that could be up in the top as well, The only big win i feel they have had this season is over Cebu, they got a few games to prove their ability, if i did the top 6 most likely they would be up there, but whats the fun if i just named off the top 8 teams
Key Wins: Cebu
Key Loss: Vets and Southern

On the Bubble

Portland Microbrews- They have already beaten the Bootleggers another team i feel is going to be on the Bubble, if they can win against one or two of the higher ranked team i feel they can slide in as a 8th seed
Key Wins: Kenosha
Key losses: RIVERSIDE, Toungoo, Mean Steel, and Monte Cristo

Hong Kong Valley Knights- They Took one early in the season from RIVERSIDE, and that could be the difference in the season for the Knights. That win could just put them over the top for the playoff spot
Key Wins- RIVERSIDE
Key Losses- Vets, Cebu, Toungoo, and Southern

Kenosha Bootleggers- They long shot for a playoff birth, because of the loss to the 'Brews, it really hurt their chances for the playoffs but if they can steal and game or two from the top teams in the league thet will still have a shot

Nice one mate. I can't argue with any of your picks. It's going to be an interesting couple of weeks for the Wasters, we play Vets and Cebu respectively after next game. That should go a long way to resolving the top order I think.

Good analysis. I can't argue much either.

As for Toungoo I think we have made a lot of progress. We had a 3 year plan to get competitive and I think we are pretty much there, but yeah work to do to break into the top tier.

Looking for some upsets in upcoming games ;-)

Looks the goods to me, though I'd probably drop Cebu down to the next category and make it a top three (I shouldn't say that since you guys beat us last year I know). I know you guys only lost by one both times, but we lost a lot of close ones last season and it proved to be a pretty accurate indicator - those close ones are important.

I think if we beat Cebu and Vietnam we'll get the #1 seed, if Vietnam beat us they'll get it. I'm picking Vietnam to beat Monte Cristo. I think Vietnam is probably the favourite currently, but once the playoffs starts all bets will be off once again.

I suspect Mike's health has been an issue for the KINGS gameplanning so far, and they'll be much tougher come the playoffs.

I think the Wasters have improved a lot in depth and their gameplanning, especially on offense, where we have a lot of weapons that weren't always being used as efficiently as was needed.

My single prediction is that Mike takes the ring home this year...

Yea and sometimes you can get unlucky in the sims, in both the games we lost we threw a INT for TD. In our loss to Mean Steel we held them to 200 yards offense. Toungoo broke a 60 yard TD. Both games i feel could have gone our way. Also we beat Monte Cristo, and they played a good game and beat you by almost 30.

Yeah we really dropped the ball on the game against the Avengers, on top of that it was just one of those games were nothing went right.

I think it's safe to say we've turned things around since then. It will be interesting to see how we pull up after our game, it'll be a ripper that's for sure.

Thanks for the recognition. This is a tough league. We may be in first place at the moment, but we're not taking anything for granted. I think there are several teams in the conference with a realistic chance of winning the title.

VJ just think if you were back here for this season, half of the conference would be in contention. SO many good teams, its gonna come down to the wire for every game.

Imperials are too low IMO, we should have beaten them but they have played a lot of upper teams and have been narrowing the margins against them.
