What do you guys think about no-level cap? Gonna make things interesting going forward this season. Personally, I wish there was a cap of 24-26. Makes more sense to me than lifting it all together.

There are no good FA's right now, so im not sure it will make that big of a difference. I also think it would be quite unfair to people on your team, some that get little playing time as it is, bring in someone 7 lvl's higher and take a ton of playing and let people ride the bench. I dont see my team going out and spending a ton of money that some of those FA's are looking for. I sure as hell hope you guys dont go out and get anyone, thats the last thing any of the Zeta teams need.

Is the cap being lifted completely in the middle of the season? Or end of season?

If it's lifted in the middle of the season I'm gonna be pissed that I just signed my 2 level 30s elsewhere for the next season.

edit: oh god damnit.

I hate this.... Although I thought this might happen. Will force teams to piss off loyal players to stay a contender.

I planned to bring in a couple players when the cap was lifted just to upgrade a few positions. I was expecting there to be a cap. I think it was a bad idea to go with no cap midseason but I guess we dont have a choice. Yeah, good agents are an important thing in this game imo.

Having no cap mid season is a joke and makes literally no sense.

I don't think anyone expected a complete lift. This will hurt alot of teams I'm sure. Bort could've at least warned us. Makes it unfair in alot of ways too.

bort did mention a complete lift mid Sept but this such a bad handcuff. I thought everyone was going to slap sense into him by now and that didn't happen lol. I'm not going to screw my players though so there's no giant overhaul happening here. Good thing level 30 guys aren't the easiest to come by at any time much less the middle of the season.

edit--heh gauging from this reaction it would be pretty cool if all of us just agreed to not go nuts here this season but someone almost always does

Also, have you looked at the FA market? there is shit for guys over lev 25! Also, look at the trade market. Wanna know why all the builds are hidden , I'll give you one guess

I don't plan on signing anyone, at least until Season 6.

Dude, I said ONE guess! Jeez, you got to spoon feed these people!

We have positions we'd like to upgrade but frankly there's just nobody out there worth a damn. We're having a decent run this year as it is. I'd rather let things play out without jacking with anything.
