Lots of Questions got answered this week but there is still a full half of a season left to play. The race at the top spot now seems a run-away while the bottom spots are still very much up for grabs. Yet when you read the top tier and the bottom you'll come to realize just how big 1 game can really be to a season.

In a Class of their own

1. New Jersey Crocodiles(8-0)
The Crocs just keep winning downing the high-flying Holloywood Knights. Despite giving up 100 more net yards than they gained they win by 8 and it took two late Hollywood touchdowns to shave the margin to that close. Will it take a week 16 showdown against Alpha of the Alpha's Admirals to break their perfect record?
Second Half of Season Games: 4 Teams with winning records highlighted by matchups against the Wolves, Bocs, and Admirals
Projected Season: 16-0 First Place Homefield Throughout

2. Roman Legion(7-1)
Took it to the Wolves after a 10-7 half time, H.B. Smoke ran the depleted Wolves defense right out of the game. The Legion kept the pressure on the entire second half and the Wolves crumbled. Now they turn into instand Wolves fans as their only shot at regaining the #1 seed is now for a Wolves upset of the Crocs and the Admirals to take care of the Crocs week 16.
Second Half: Just two teams with winning records as they play the Bocs and Chuck Norris. While trying to dash the playoff hopes of the Vikings and Bulls.
Projected Record: 15-1 2nd Place

The next four

3. Walterfootball.com Draftniks(6-2)
Brutalized the Constantinople Knights 90-3 and now move into the second half of the season. They would probably love a re-match against the Crocs and Legion but will have to wait until the post-season to make that come true.
Second Half: Plays just three teams with winning records (Wolves, Norris, and Bocs) plus the upstart Bulls and Vikings along with the Mauraders from Alpha.
Projected: 13-3 3rd Place

4. Warsaw Wolves(7-1)
All good things.... we'll it was a good run. The Wolves didnt give the Legion the kind of battle they were hoping too but we will lick our wounds and look forward to the second half of the season. We may not be as good as the Legion yet but heh were not the "Jokes" anymore either.
Second Half: 4 Teams with winning records highlighted by Crocs, Draftniks, Hollywood and Manlets.
Projected Record: 13-3 4th Place

5. Hollywood Knights(5-3)
Unable to sustain many drives against the Crocs the Knights, once my darkhorse pick to win it all(I do love passing) now find their chances at homefield in the playoffs on the line in the second half. It's not a rough second half schedule but it's not the easiest either including a week 16 draw against the Nine Tailed Foxes and you can never be sure against that kind of genetic expirement. A one game playoff late season with the Wolves is not the only danger to this team for home field an upset loss to any of the others and Barcelona can eliminate them from homefield week 16.
Second Half: 4 Games against winning teams(Wolves, Bocs, Barcelona - and this week the Manlets.
PROJECTED RECORD: 11-5 5th Place

6. Misc Manlets(5-3)
The last of the second crew with any real chance of moving up but they also face a tough second half schedule however they can improve the rest of the way could dislodge both the Wolves and Hollywood and finish as high as third given their remaining schedule - but it certain won't be easy.
Second Half: Five teams with winning records (Wolves, Bocs, Chuck, Asylum(Alpha) and this weeks game of the Week against Hollywood.
Projection: 10-6 6th Place

Fighting for their post-season lives:

7. Vienne Vikings(4-4)
Moving up rapidly showing they could place defense even against the Bocs has them sitting pretty now. While they certainly can't mail it in the rest of the season they have shown they have all the right stuff to share in post-season riches. A week 16 matchups against one of Alpha's worst doesnt hurt either.
Second Half: Just three opponenets over .500 albeit two are the Legion and Draftniks. Their two key second half games are against the Bulls and Chuck Norris wins there and they are in the driver seat for spot #7 and a revenue share with the very rich Roman Legion.
Second Half Projected: 10-6 7th Place *(Tie-breaker from Manlets Loss)

8. Pamplona Bulls(4-4)
Holding onto the 8th spot- for now if they drop this weeks game against Chuck "for get about it" these guys plays one of the toughest second half schedules and will need to pull a few upsets - I don't really like their chances that much but I dont like their opponents chances either so I left them in this spot (for now).
Second Half: 5 Games against opponents with winning records and not just a few winning records - alot of wins games against Legion, Draftniks, Crocs, and Popes - Yikes through in Chuck Norris and Vienne and this team will struggle to go .500 despite a good early season showing.
PROJECTED RECORD: 7-9 8th Place

8. Chuck Norris(5-3)
We'll someone has to plays the Crocs in roung 1 and it might as well be these guys but they shouldn't count on that revenue share money just yet, Im really curious how things fair with the matchup against the Bulls this week but Chuck needs this one although they could potentially "back into" a playoff spot without it.
Second Half: Second most brutal schedule the rest of the way Legion, Draftniks, Crocs, Manlets, through in the Bulls and Vikings for good measure and its tough to see these guys playing in the post-season.
PROJECTED RECORD: 7-9 9th Place

8. Iberian Bocs (5-3)
7 Points? 7 freaking points against that secondary of the Vikings - thats it? Are your kidding me? There are level 13 caps who could throw for more yardarge against that secondary than these guys did. These guys also have a nasty second half schedule and apparently can't score so no way can I give them a tie-breaker advantage.
Second Half: Brutal 6 Winning Teams all at or near Juggernaught status (Legion, Draftniks, Crocs, Manlets, Hollywood, Cologne(Alpha)) - Que Jim Mora "Playoffs? Your talking about Playoffs we'd be lucky to win a game?"
EXPECTED RECORD: 7-9 10th Place

May get in by default:

11. Hague Pirates(3-5)
Another loss and clearly at the bottom but you can do the Monty Python thing and go ...wait Im not dead yet. Well they should be they needed that game against Chuck and based on their opponents schedules probably could have gotten themselves into the post-season. Now they need to pull an upset of someone to get themeselves there.
Second Half: Just three winning teams Hollywood, Legion, and Don's but also plays the Bulls and Vikings - could easily sneak the last playoff spot with an win against either but still....hard to see them doing that with the loss to Chuck.
EXPECTED RECORD: 6-10 11th Place

NOTE ON THE PREDICTIONS I DO NOT USE THE LEAGUE PROJECTOR, so this is my prediction purely on observation - leaves it more open to being interesting anyway.

GAME OF THE WEEK: Chuck Norris vs. Pamplona Bulls
We'll this week the big game is not at the top - its right here two teams battling it out for one of two post-season spots on paper but given schedules really only 1. Pamplona NEEDS this one. If they lose here its sianora post-season and wait until next year. Backs to the wall Im backing the Bulls.
Bulls 23 Chuck Norris 21

Must See TV: Hollywood Knights vs. Misc Manlets
Hollywood's high powered offense versus the Manlets grind it own win the war in the trenches style should be a great game. I think this one is close but too many big plays from Hollywood to overcome for the Manlets. Of course win this and Hollywood tumbles even further down the charts and surrenders any real shot of playing at home in round 1 and they need the money.
Hollywood 31 Manlets 24

The Late game: Roman Legion vs. Iberian Bocs
This one makes it in by default as almost all the rest of the games are gimmie's maybe Iberian could upset them but I highly doubt it - they should save their bonus tokens for a more winnable battle as the Legion run away with this one.
Roman Legion 66 Iberian Bocs 3

If your interested in these games your padding stats:
Hague 109 Sidewinder 7
Wolves 77 Mamertini 14
Vikings 134 Athens 10 (and more than the Bocs this week)
Crocs 134 Constantinople 0
Draftniks 80 Tigers 0

Mid-Season Award Nominees:

Best Offense:
A. New Jersey Crocodiles
B. Roman Legion
C. Misc Manlets
D. Warsaw Wolves

Best Defense:
A. Romn Legion
B. Iberian Bocs
C. Chuck Norris
D. Pamplona Bulls

Most Improved:
A. New Jersey Crocodiles
B. Warsaw Wolves
C. Vienne Vikings
D. Pamplona Bulls

Most Likely to win it all:
A. New Jersey Crocodiles

I am curious about William's thoughts on the Week 16 matchup of the New Jersey Crocodiles against the Amsterdam Admirals.

He's projected New Jersey to end at 16-0, indicating a Amsterdam loss.

On paper (and I suspect on the field), Amsterdam has an advantage over New Jersey.

What is the basis of this 16-0 prediction?

A couple things 1 - keeping my word after they eat oth the Legion and Draftniks I said I wouldnt pick against them again

2 - On paper the Legion should have beaten them, so should the Draftniks when they played and Hollywood should have been a closer game - I think the Crocs despite appear "lucky" actually game plan extremly well and have that combination of builds that just seems to fit together nicely. On Paper the Popes should lose to alot of teams they handle easily. Same kinda thing I sense from the Crocs.

Again good stuff, we will wait and see what comes up and concentrate our gameplanning from opponent to opponent.
And in the playoffs everything is possible. But before the first kickoff in the playoffs will be done there's a lot of football to play.

And william78 you build up a real good football team from the Johns Jokes, I remember them and I also remember your promise to build up a good football team. You did it.
*I take my hat off to you*

Because the Crocs beat the Refugees 40-14.....that is the basis. Period, end of story. Therefore Crocs = 16-0

haha i contribute the crocks success to great game planning and awesome builds. Not of my players has a bad build and most of them are very active and dedicated to the team. Not sure about the admirals yet. As far as I see it, we have two teams standing in our way to an undeafted team, the wolves ( My vote for most improved) and the admirals. Coach F is a good owner and has a solid team. Although we are the favorites to win it all, I wouldnt be surprised at all if legion or draftniks knock us off in the playoffs. They are very solid teams and our next game could go anywhere.

ps.
Thanks Bachus for the vote of confidence

My hat is off to you as well If Im not mistaken you have lost a grand total of 4 or 5 regular season games in 3 seasons that's pretty dominant doesnt happen by accident. Your also the richest team in the conference gaining the 7th spot will actually mean something too because the revenue split with you guys will probably get those guys near getting a stadium expansion.

Great game Hollywood, My CB had never been beaten for a couple TD's like that. Let Matt Samrtizja know he's whatever build he's got is working.

As far as who wins the division, it's a toss up between the top three. Roman, Draft, and Croc's all are exceptionally good teams and Knight's proved that they are up there too along with the Wolve's. This is going to be a really interesting playoff and I'd be lying if I said I know we'll win or even confident looking at the rest of the field. The hope is someone can bring it home for Zeta regardless of what team it is ;D

I may be biased I don't see how the Draftniks don't qualify in the top offenses. Our QB is leading the league in TD's. Our starting HB is 5th and we have a reciever ranked 2nd. I love your writeups but I don't see how your Wolves offense is better than ours.

ya depending on the split the 7th place team good very well make more playing at Rome then if they had the home game. Let the battle for 7th begin
