Since so many ask why i have a hershey kiss as my avatar.....

New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin invoked the term Chocolate City in 2006, a few months after Hurricane Katrina, during a Martin Luther King Day speech (the "Chocolate City speech"). This remark, in which Nagin said that New Orleans "would be a chocolate city once again," led to controversy, with critics accusing Nagin of racism; when Nagin later attended the 2006 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, Stephen Colbert welcomed Nagin to Washington, D.C., "the chocolate city with a marshmallow center and a graham cracker crust of corruption".

In the early 90's the New Orleans Saints had a dominant defense led by a linebacking core widely considered the best ever in the NFL. This LB core consisted of Rickey Jackson, Sam Mills, Pat Swilling and Vaughn Johnson. This unit used to destroy opposing offenses and the crowd would scream Cha Ching when they made big plays. The scorebaord would also light up with Cha-Ching and it seemed like everyone had a Cha-Ching bumper sticker or T-Shirt in the NOLA metro. The Cha-Ching was taken from a Rally's fast food commercial that was popular at the time.

Since most of us are from the New Orleans area either now or at one time we adopted the name Chocolate City Cha Chings. The Chocolate City is in jest for the completely idiotic mayor and the Cha Ching is in honor of the Dome Patrol.

The avatar is a photoshopped picture of the Superdome with a hershey kiss on top to symbolize the term "Chocolate City".

Yea those were the good old days for the saints with Frank Warren Wayne Martin Pig Goff The Dome Patrol but the problem is they had Toy Cook AKA Toast as a corner. and there was no real running game I mean yea the saints had Dalton Hillard but Coach Mora had no clue how to use him they had the Original Ragin Cajun Bobby Herbert (from Cutoff) throwing to Eric Martin but nothing beats having a kicker that was automatic from 55 yards named Morten Anderson

Yea I remember those days And watching every away game cause the saints couldn't sell out the dome unless WDSU, WWL, or Schwegman bought the tickets
