Giants Monkey vs Fury - Fury gets to be the last team to play the inept CPUs of the Giants Monkey (starting tomorrow, the CPUs won't be so inept). A big Fury win is a lock. Fury 200 - Giants Monkey 0

River Rats vs NERC - The Red Celtics have started the season an impressive 2-2, but are facing the buzz saw formerly known as the River Rats. River Rats roll big. River Rats 45 - NERC 13

Knight vs Rex - The Rex are poised for their first victory under new ownership. Their hard work should pay off with an easy win over the Grumpy Knight. Rex 56 - Knight 24

Villagers vs Energy - The Villagers shouldn't have too much trouble against the Energy. Expect another big win. Villagers 51 - Energy 10

Dagger vs Badgers - Its a shame this isn't a better matchup, but the Badgers are becoming a footnote in the race to the A6 East playoffs. Daggers 67 - Badgers 17

Vanguards vs Fanboys - Interesting matchup here. Against similar competition, I've learned not to doubt either of these teams. Either way, one has to win. Vanguards 24 - Villagers 17

Steel Riders vs Agengers - One of the two premier matchup of the week. Last season, the Avengers took the A6 East by surprise early, only to limp into the playoffs. The Steel Riders came into this season with expectations of a top 4 seed. The winner of this game has the inside track to one of those 4 spots. GOTW Steel Riders 35 - Avengers 24

Lizard Lickers vs Bearphins - This week's other top matchup! The Lizard Lickers could be the only team standing in the way of the River Rats and a perfect season. Today, the Bearphins hope to knock the Lizards Lickers from those undefeated ranks. Expect to see the ball in the air early and often. Whichever D gives up less big plays should lead the their team to victory. Lizard Lickers 45 - Bearphins 31

Perhaps we would have beaten the Villagers, as you write, but I doubt it, since we couldn't beat the Fanboys.

Damn, I need to proof these better...especially when I throw them together quickly like this one.

Our defense did it's job this week...but for the 1st time the offense failed to put up points...

Yes, the Bearphins beat us by 3 in turnover margin... just like every other non-gutted team we've played.

It was interesting playing you guys. You've got a great offense, and I didn't think we'd be able to hold you under 20. Fortunately for us, Lee was a little off the mark today, because that QB has a great arm and some receivers who put up a ton of yards.

ETA: My hat's off to Awesomeville's CB o bolden, by the way. He single-handedly got more interceptions than we'd thrown all season.

thanks man, Lee has been great for 3 seasons and the start of this one. We are truly glad to have him on the team. And Bolden just beat out Prates for the starting job in the offseason, I guess we see now why


and GL to you guys too, you have a very strong team and if we make the playoffs, I'd defiantly not like to end up playiong you guys again.

also, I'm not exactly sure why we passes so much. I had it set to 75% percent run. Oh well, you guys played a heck of a game a deserved the win.
