We have had some great wins, however, they are mostly against close to gutted teams.
What a false sense of security.

I almost rather play a great team and lose then win against a gutted one.

I am hoping with the changes that Bort is making we will have fewer gutted teams next season.

The previous 2 seasons were so competetive.

The only problem is with the new plan I think all the gutted teams will be coming to our league. But I am guessing many teams will be moving up.

Yeah and that takes all the history of WE A7 away from us. I want to earn my spot to move up. My GM's and myself have worked very hard to assemble our team to be competitive (putting us on the map) and now we might not have the opportunity to fight it out with those we have come to respsct and compete with. However, I totally understand something needs to be done just the culture of different leagues will change because of this and that is sad yet exciting to have more balance. Until this season we have had the balance and not as many gutted/cpu/farm teams to deal with as we do this season.

That just means we all end up in WE AA #4 and we all battle it out there instead.

All? I haven't looked into the new Promo/Relegation system much, but I just don't want Kilkenny or other good (not quite elite) teams to be left behind. We have some great rivalries and I love playing/chatting with the fellow Alpha members, wouldn't want to lose that next season

I for one will be pissed if they try to promote my team without a conference title. Just because some lazy asses quit and gut their teams the rest shouldn't be forced to move around and lose the rivalries that begun here just because some higher level team owners want to complain about gutting.

My solution is that if your team finishes a season as a "gutted" team then just disband it. We don't need "gutted" leagues in here as they would be a complete joke!

So you disband a team, and then what, you have a conference with 15 teams?

yea i think people who have good teams should stop with the whole "rewarding lazy teams" thing. In the past 2 or 3 days ive sent out close to 50 or 60 contract offers to level 17+ wrs but none of them accepted or even read/responded to my PMs. I know it sucks to be moved all around but our team only has like 1 or 2 games left that we shouldnt easily win, and even though it might be fun to win by 100 points and get all kinda of crazy stats its I'd rather have my HB run for 150 yards and 2 tds againist a good team then 600 yards and 10 TDs againist a crappy team anyday.

I know I'm kinda just ranting but i was the GM of a gutted team a couple seasons ago and no one wants to join a team that has lost every game by 100 or more regardless of how hard you try, the only way I got good players on that team was by asking people i knew to join it. A lot of them even said no. The good players want to start on a championship team, and the ok ones would take being a bench warmer on a champion over playing on a good team.

I think the only three real things you can do to fix the problem is you could 1: change around all the leagues by level that way everyone plays the same level of competetion, 2: add a couple bottom teir leagues for the really bad A teams or 3: put in some sort of thing to give bad teams a chance to get better before the already good teams. For example maybe set up a draft type thing were if you're an FA after a certain date you get entered in the draft and each leauge has a max and min level for the players in that draft then you do it the same way the NFL does.

IDK if this really made sense and Im kinda ranting but to put everything in simple terms work in never equals work out

I am not sure it was a solution just a hope but I may be wrong.
