I expect that SI will add both teams to the final field, but I agree that, if he is going to open up eligibility to USA AAA teams, he also needs to open up eligibility to all AAA teams.


ETA: I didn't realize that at least one of the teams on the standby list was going to be snubbed. Considering that he allowed teams in that submitted their entry past his deadline, that is bullshit.

Also, the 'Nites are going to face tough competition in the first round, as I think all three of those teams are better than some others that SI has already allowed into the tourney.

Currently 3 USA A teams have made the field of 64. :thumbdown:

we couldnt schedule any earlier than Day 19.

Um, I don't think anyone can. I just tried and my earliest is day 20 or 21. Looks like Bort has the friendlies capped to 16 per time slot, per day, and they're all taken up. I think this'll be a no-go this season honestly.

We're scheduled for Day 21, but I agree - Bort needs to open up some more slots b/c people are eating up the friendlies.

Sent ours for day 21 as well. I'm just wondering if this is a good idea. If Bort opens up more games, will the day 21 game be locked in?

If he doesn't, will we have enough slots left to get to round 2 by day 21?
