Western Conference:

GOTW - LA Arsenal (#1) Vs. Team Maddenwars.com (#3)

"The Team" as I will call them from now on have shown they can do more than just hold their own in the A leagues with an impressive win against JetNation and a surprising thrashing of a very good Dread City team. LAA have been impressive this year as well with quality wins over the Llamas and the Webzoners. This meeting between the #1 and #3 spots is sure to be a good one as both teams are trying to stay undefeated.

Runner up - Yazoo City Saints (#3) at JetNation Juggernauts (#8)

Yazoo have come out of the gates strong this season going undefeated through 4 games and grabbing the #2 spot. If there's any question though, it's about the quality of their opponents. They have a good win over the Compton Vikings, but the new team from Southern Californian have been their only real test so far. JetNation's #8 spot is misleading due to losses against some pretty tough teams in San Francisco and "The Team". The Juggernauts will at least give Yazoo City a run for their money, and either team could take this game.

Eastern Conference:

GOTW - Windycity Menace (#7) at AggieFans Legion of Doom (#11)

After what even fans from Chicago would call a slow start, Windycity look to put their losses behind them with a quality win over Aggiefans. The Legion of Doom have shown in the past that they can upset anybody, and are always a threat to win the game. A very scrappy team indeed. Both of these teams are 2-2 and are looking to rise above the congested middle of the table in the Eastern Conference.

Runner up 1 - Beer Town Brawlers (#3) at Detroit Rampage (#10)

After talking up a storm, the Detroit Rampage have been less than impressive against the higher level of competition A2 offers. Tomorrow they have a chance to put their game where their mouth is against another former BBB team, the Beer Town Brawlers. BTB made a seamless transition to A2, and are already an established top team in the league. I'm looking for Beer Town to take this, leaving fans in Detroit wondering what happened to their Championship team.

Runner up 2 - Philadelphia Pythons (#1) vs. Atlanta Scorpions (#12)

Our second all-BBB match-up pits the Pythons against the Scorpions. The Pythons have been cruising through USA A2 thus far, but haven't really played any of the top teams yet. The wins over Choctaw and Florida State are impressive, but how far can the Pythons take it? On the other hand, the Atlanta Scorpions have struggled since their Season 3 promotion, failing to make the playoffs in season 4. This is a key game for them where they can get a win against a playoff-bound team. With ICP gone, and a couple of more gutteds in the East, can the Scorpions somehow find their way to the post-season?

Very nice write up! Detroit is in for a nasty 6 game stretch before they get to play Trinsic for the easy win. If they win 1 game out of those 6 I will be shocked.

The thing I noticed about this write up that really solidifies for me the fact I don't like the current promotion system is the lack of ICP, Oklahoma and Baltimore. The rivalries are dying out.

The Scorpions have to be glad that the tough part of their schedule is out of the way. Their 1st 5 opponents are a combined 22-3. The remaining teams on their schedule are a combined 17-33.
