Every season it appears 4 or 5 games in the season that teams go undefeated and face each other. This season is no different and Birmingham faced a similar situation 2 seasons ago when Berlin faced them and Birmingham won than the next week had to face undefeated London Hitmen in which Birmingham failed in that mission.

If Birmingham can make it past Dallas and Italian makes it past Dublin Dragoons it will be the second such season that Birmingham has faced back to back undefeated teams.

Since I am the owner of Birmingham Cardinals I will remain out of the predictions here. Everyone else fire away their prediction of the Dallas at Birmingham match and Italian at Dublin game as well. Will history repeat itself?

Discuss!

Brimingham will win if Italian are still undefeated 28-24

I think Birmingham beats Dallas, especially if they copy or come close to copying our offensive game plan against Dallas.

I bet there are 20 combined missed tackles and 12 combined turnovers in the game, though. No knock on either team and no sour grapes from Dublin, so don't take it the wrong way (seriously...it's not intended that way), but I think both of you guys (particularly Dallas) are playing with fire in your defensive settings and one (or both) of you is going to get bitten in the ass on it considering the way Bort tweaks things without warning every few days.

Wait, Birm has a big game coming up? I hadn't even noticed

Just kidding guys! It's going to be a great game Dallas, and even if we get by them Italian is going to be another huge test.

Even if we lose one or both I think they'll both be extremely competitive and everyone involved is looking to prove themselves and stand out from the crowd of talent this conference sees year in and year out.

Good luck!

Both Dallas and Birmingham have looked monstrous early in the season. Should be some good scouting material in this game

Birmingham took care of business in impressive fashion today!

Final Score - Birmingham 31 - Dallas 0

This game scared me actually and to be honest I didn't expect to win it by this margin.

It appears as Birmingham will be going into the battle with Italian undefeated! I am however awaiting the outcome of the Italian-Dublin game to confirm this.

WOW that is a total shocker. I mean I like Dublin as they have always been one of my favorite teams in Zeta Conference but certainly didn't expect that. Great job Dublin spoiled another match of undefeateds. The only hope now is that Bonn and Birmingham both go undefeated the entire season and face each other in the Championship which will be a very hard task.

Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence, D. I think you're forgetting that we beat both Dallas and Italian last season. And this season, one change in turnovers either way against Dallas and there wouldn't have been a Battle of the Undefeateds today. Still, that's part of the game and the final score is the only statistic that counts.

Although Birmingham is looking pretty damn unbeatable right now.

Good game Dublin. You guys just have our number apparently. We had no answer for your TE.

I am very disappointed that our Defense got gashed as badly as it did. I am also disgusted in the play of my QB. NUMEROUS throws were just not even close to the WR. An all around crappy performance for us, but that is no excuse. Dublin earned this victory. Congrats.

What really sucks is that we have Birmingham up next

No kidding. I've been trying to figure out how Stockholm and Paris scored 27 and 17, respectively, on them. Unfathomable.

GG to you guys, also. You have a really tough team. While I was watching the game I wondered if it was going to come down the final minutes like last season, then you guys scored two TDs in the 4th and I seriously thought "here we go again"...but it wasn't meant to be.

Good luck with Birmingham!

After we went down 19-0 I had seen enough and just looked at the score. I am glad I did because I would have gotten my hopes up again in the 4th quarter, only to be squashed.

Maybe we'll meet again in the playoffs. Good luck the rest of the way.
