Dante Jones personally guarantees a trip to the championship game this year. He is quoted as saying: "There's no team that can match the intensity and skill of the Storm this year. We're gonna slaugher any team that is foolish enough to cross our destined path."

He also went on to say that he is a top 10 corner in the league and will prove it again this season.

On the loss to the Winnipeg Jets:

"Tough loss, we fought really hard. I wasn't able to pick any balls off, and generally didn't play too well in the game. I'm going to rest a little in the next game (which we should win) and I'll come back the next game at full strength. Oh, btw, I still haven't let a TD in by my man for my whole career. Go ahead and try; I dare ya."

On the win against the South Dildo Demons:

"This was a total team effort for this game. Our offense was absolutely ballin, and our secondary was great too. I actually let in my first TD though. However, I did deflect 5 passes and get 9 tackles. We should win the next game against the Gulls in two days, and watch for the two main WRs to get limited yardage when I'm guarding them."

You're guarding both of them? At the same time?

On the win against the Gulls:
"We finally beat this team that gave us so much trouble last season. Our D finally stopped the passing attack that killed us, and we were able to pass well enough against their D to score points. This upcoming game shouldn't be as hard, but we're all pretty tired from the last game, so you never know."

Oh, excuse me for leading the league in pass deflections and ranking high in tackles. I must be a load of crap. Oh, wait, no I'm not, I don't play for your team.

On the win against the Regina Renegades:

"I've been kinda tired the last two weeks, so I've been playing softer. But the Storm has really pulled through as a team. I'm really happy about where we are so far this season. We really are becoming a team now. And now that I have my energy back, I'm going to be glued to the receivers. Seriously, we're gonna kill the Tigers. They don't staqnd a chance. I guarentee we're going to win by at least 10 points."

On the win against the Clemson Tigers:

"Ha, told you that they didn't stand a chance. 44-0? That's terrible. I want to publicly apologize for personally humiliating the players and fans of the Tigers. That was extremely disrespectful of us to completely demoralize the opponents. What were we thinking? I hope we show more class when we beat the Lions today."

On the wins against the Vancouver Lions and Pittsburgh Iron Men:

"Yup, we beat the Vancouver Lions and Iron Men from $hitsburgh. Seriously, Mongo Mangler is a beast. In the two games combined, he had 32 pancakes. And the $hitsburgh game was his off-game. The rest of the line is tremendous too. Anyways, guess who had another pick. Yup. I'm 12th in the league in tackles, 1st in passes deflected, and am 2 INTs behind the leader. I also only let 1 TD pass in for the WRs that I have been guarding. I guess you could call me elite. But us Storm will have a challenge ahead of us with the undefeated Hellraisers. I'm predicting they won't have such an easy time either. Or at least their receivers won't. If we can score more than 3 touchdowns, we can win."

Now this is how the "trash talking" should be done. It is fun to read, in character, doesn't throw around wild insults, and doesn't seem like a grade schooler wrote it. Keep up the good work!

On the loss against the Drinkin Hellraisers and the win against the Calgary Monsters:

"Well, we lost against the Hellraisers. Like I said, we needed 3 touchdowns. We got past their 30 yard line when time ran out. But anyways, we held their receivers to minimal gains. They only had one receiver do reasonably well. And we beat their DBs senseless. We'll see you guys in the playoffs. The Monsters can go back in their closet, we're not afraid any more. We scored 21 unanswered points to come from behind, so you could say we have a volatile offense. I led the team in tackles, so I'm not only an elite corner, I'm a team leader. I also want to give a shout-out to JJW, our HB: he ran for 175 yards and 3 TDs. Definitely our offensive workhorse. But we're going to have a tough time against the Reapers tomorrow. They're better than their 5-5 record. I'm excited to shut down their receivers though. I'll be closer to them than William Perry is to his fridge."
