Hell I dont know LOL. I feel the same with a few other teams as well. But I am sure we will see each other in the playoffs. Its destiny??

If destiny is being down by 1 point with time running out in the 4th and calling a run play, I guess it's destiny

Either way, I do hope to meet you in the playoffs this season. Or anyone for that matter. We're due a run, and this season looks to be our best chance yet. Just gotta figure out how to finish off those close games...

I would call that a gameplan.

You know you can make sure that if you are down by 1 point and near the end of the game you can make sure you call pass plays? sounds like a messed up gameplan to me.

(not that my gameplan is perfect but blaming that on destiny instead of your gameplan is just garbage)

I was pro run all game. I felt we had much better depth on the OLINE vs your DLINE and 100% sure it would show in the second half. Your GP was perfect especially in the 1st qtr but FG's cost ya the game and then energy slowly was a factor IMHO. I mean 9-0 vs 17 or 21 - 0 is a huge difference we dont overcome in most cases no matter what energy levels. (BUT GIVE MY DC HUGE CREDIT)

And having Tate with his accuracy I feel confident he can get us out of jam. And dang Tate was huge this game with my solid WR core.

I GM another team with BluePike I sent him a PM before the game with exact thought of GP. Just didnt think it would be down to a FG. And thats where I know we had lady luck on our side BIGTIME.

I mean all we need is 10 yards to get into FG range with a solid run game. Ummm why would I pass once inside an opponents 50 to give them time to get the ball back and win?? I mean I do have a pass in the advanced Al (as it shows to start drive) but I cant help I considered such things as my OLINE vs I felt my opponents weakness late in a game.

And you will ask why run on 2nd and 8.5?

I answer cause we can! Nah actually the odds of completing 3rd down increase with less yardage. Its a common thought as a coach myself catching teams off guard and making the best of 2nd down to increase 3rd down odds. Just so happen Algeria was caught with their pants down.

Id rather win with an FG then anything else with little time for an opponent.

So I think the GP flaw is well not a flaw.

If anything I give Algeria credit on the Offensive side since my D-COR is pretty dam solid if not one of the the best in the league. And I wasnt concerned about NOT scoring just had a slow start and I give Algeria credit as I did many times but FG's killed them.

And yes I use advanced Al and change it every game.

Well, to be honest..i didnt even look at the play. I just read turners and assumed that HE had run the ball with "time running short" and blowing it and thats why he lost. I wasnt blaming you for any fuckups at all.

Thats what i get for assuming shit. Sorry to the both of ya for that assumption.

I watched the last drive and that was a hell of a run and at that time in the game when you would think that the offense should be throwing on everydown it would really suck to lose a game that way

Actually, I very much WAS referring to OUR OWN run play to end the game. The very last play of the game - we were in our own field (if memory serves - if not, we were very far from the end zone) and ran with it...

Don't get me wrong, I already made it clear in my own team's forums, in case the OC doesn't watch the games like I do, that I didn't appreciate running the ball in that situation

Regardless...we may have not even made a good pass if we HAD thrown it...could have been swatted down, or even intercepted, as my QB is prone to do in key situations, but at least we could have given our WRs a CHANCE to make the big play, because they tend to do that from time to time...

The idea for that game, Rook, was that your team was going to have to beat us with the pass, because our run defense was going to absolutely destroy your O Line. I think we did, for a while, make your dual-HBs lives a living hell...I'm not certain what kind of effect having a huge play done to your defense has - what I mean is, once your team got that giant pass off, we seemed to stop playing our Defense, and just play half assed...

I dunno...that game sucked for us, was awesome for you, so we'll just call this a prequel for the Conf Championship, aight? haha

Great game Nightmares, heartbreaker for us (Coming back from 10+ down only to lose sucks!). But hey, all the credit to you guys, that 40 yard run with a minute left killed me a bit on the inside

Strangely enough, the OC for our team sent me a PM asking me what happened haha. I had taken a look at the two minute drill he has set up, and he's got nothing but pass plays in there. This only fuels my confusion as to what happened...
