Well we are getting some answers about how good each team really is and we will soon see more - since I have time today - Im stuck at the airport will be adding a little week 4 preview and some early season prognostication for teams in playoff contention.

The Fabulous Four
1. New Jersey Crocodiles(3-0)
Follows up their upset of the Legion with a thumping of the Mamertini, but before they go out a celebrate with a coke and a slice they had better check some game settings. The Draftniks await and I doubt the Draftniks have fully recovered from their loss to the Legion.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Walter, Hague, Manlets.
Predicted 6 Game Record: 5-1

2. Roman Legion(2-1)
I've criticized their week in and week out gameplanning before but this week with Luxemborg Sidewinders on the schedule they could probably switch all their offensive and defensive players to opposite sides of the ball and still be favored by a TD.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Sidewinders, Hollywood, Constantinople
Projected 6 Game Record: 5-1

3. Walterfootball Draftniks(2-1)
Get the chance to show how good they really are against New Jersey of course if they lose here they really look like a second pack team not a top 4 title contender. I think they matchup better against New Jersey though than against the Legion.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Crocs, Manlets, Sidewinders
PROJECTED RECORD: 5-1

4. Hollywood Knights(3-0)
Im still judging this team off last season as they have not played any powerhouses but have shutdown and embarrassed the teams they have played.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Vikings, Legion, Mamertini
PROJECTED RECORD: 5-1

Moving on up?

5. Warsaw Wolves(3-0)
Wow statement win against the Bocs 34-0. The question now is what is the statement is Warsaw that good? Was Iberian overrated? Did they game plan poorly? Time will tell but not this week as we match up against Athens.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Athens, Chuck Norris, Bulls
Projected 6 Game Record: 6-0(Should be tops at least for a bit)

6. Misc Manlets(2-1)
Despite the loss still not a team anyone wants to play particularly if you have issues stopping the run. This is a solid team unlikely to be upset by an inferior opponent.
UPCOMING GAMES: Mamertini, Draftniks, Crocs
PREDICTION: 3-3 (But with an easier schedule after that)

Bubble Teams

7. Chuck Norris(2-1)
Hard to rate this team as they have blowout the cupcakes but gotten manhandled by their one quality opponent. Need to see them matchup more but I can see them having a good deal of problems.
UPCOMING OPPONENTS: Tigers, Wolves, Bocs
PROJECTED RECORD: 3-3

8. Iberian Bocs (2-1)
I liked this team, I still do but my Wolves totally manhandled these guys. Dominating on both sides of the ball much more than I thought possible. What appeared to be a solid line ran into a sack fest of blitz's and stunts. Need to see them beat a quality team before I move them back up the ladder. Still thinking they should hold on for playoffs.
UPCOMING GAMES: Hague, Athens, Chuck Norris
EXPECTED RECORD: 5-1

9. Hague Pirates(1-2)
Desperately need a win against the Bocs to avoid a potential morale spiral and serious trouble. Their next game could have long lasting repercussions on their season if they cant find a way to victory.
UPCOMING GAMES: Bocs, Crocs, Minotaurs (Oh My!)
EXPECTED RECORD: 2-4

10. Pamplona Bulls(1-2)
Still a dark horse team and the last one I'll cover in-depth unless someone at the bottom starts to make some noise. Need to make sure they beat the bad teams and take a shot at upsets when they get them and they might just sneak in the back door.
UPCOMING GAMES: Constantinople, Tigers, Wolves
RECORD: 3-3

NOTE ON THE PREDICTIONS I DO NOT USE THE LEAGUE PROJECTOR, so this is my prediction purely on observation - leaves it more open to being interesting anyway.

GAME OF THE WEEK: Draftniks vs. Crocs
Good game has the potential to put New Jersey in the drivers seat for home field throughout as they will have beaten the two goliaths if they can win. Still I think Walter reverts to form and takes this in the very manner they want to. 31-13

MUST SEE TV: Hague vs. Bocs
One of these teams could be on the outside looking in come week 16 and Hague is really really hurting if they cant pull this off. The Bocs have some breathing room but could really use a victory.
Bocs 28 Hague 10

FOR THE ADDICTS:
Legion 135 Sidewinders 0
Hollywood 77 Vikings 10
Manlets 24 Mamertini 15 (And broke)
Bulls 57 Constantinople 3
Warsaw 114 Athens 6
Chuck 84 Tigers 14

Ohh no love for the crocks this week. Although we are ranked 1 we get predicted to be blown out. Its ok Walter is a dangerous team but i think we'll give them a better game than that.

ttipp, any chance you could exchange offense for defense for our scrimmage? I have been looking at your last four games and have no clue what to do about your offense. It would be really helpful if you just go ahead and tell me what your settings will be and we can make it not so bad for me. Be a good sport and PM me if you don't want it on the forum. Thanks for the help in advance.

I like your team alot obviously, I just think you draw your worst matchup of the season against Walter. Of course a win here and you guys are in the drivers seat the rest of the way.

No, I will take my spanking as needed. I am just to meet you 10-0 this season. I want to change my tactics, but I have not done so since the end of last season and I am worried. I can't stop the run, you run well, I can't stop passes and you pass well, I am out leveled because your backups equal my starters. Yes, I am crying now because I wish all WEA5 to know I didn't ask for this game. I didn't want this game. I wanted the Popes or Tigers in Alpha. If I keep you under 70 or I score 14 on you I would be happy...but it won't happen. Jack Daniels for the loss.

Personally I'm just glad I didn't have to guard Earzlo like last season. Guys a beast. You have a plethora of WR's though
