Since I prefer to be paid to do this instead of doing this during my free time here is the predictions for Saturday's games.

Lion Conference

Cape Verde Headhunters vs. Tijuana Thundercats
Game of the Week for the Lion Conference. Both are closely rated but I think Tijuana's WR corps is about to get stronger and that makes the difference(not sure on this).

Tijuana 28 - Cape Verde 24

Red Sea Wave vs. Burundi Hutu
The Hutu put up a good fight but get swept away by the Wave.

Red Sea 42 - Burundi 34

Beltway Bandits vs Answer Please
Beltway unmercifully destroys Answer Please.

Beltway 100 - Answer 0

A.C.T Orcas vs. Malagasy Bushmen
The Orcas drown the Bushmen.

A.C.T. 37 - Malagasy 10

Band of Brothers vs. Ethiopia Executioners
The Brothers execute Ethiopia.

Band 52 - Ethiopia 20

Oklahoma Fire vs. Scottish Sharks
Should be a good game. Maybe this is the game Oklahoma surprises.

Oklahoma 32 - Scottish 28

Katanga Diamonds vs. Rhein Main Magic Mushrooms
Katanga cleans up Rhein Main.

Katanga 48 - Rhein Main 21

Trinidad Trojans vs. Atlantic Blue Jays
The Lion Conference Game of the Weak.
Atlantic wins I guess.

Atlantic 40 - Trinidad 13

Elephant Conference

Ghana Buffalos vs. Senegal NATIONALS
No respect for that Nattys. They lose BIG!

Ghana 50 - Senegal 10

Togo Strikers vs. Rwanda Assassins
Togo has a tough game but pull it out without too much trouble.

Togo 42 - Rwanda 24

Kigali Silverbacks vs. Zanzibar Leopards
A tough game for both teams. The Leopards look to rebound from last week's loss. Unfortunately, Kigali stomps them.

Kigali 42 - Zanzibar 10

Doinitin Djibouti vs. Cairo Crocodiles
The seasonal thorn in Djibouti's side. Can they finally turn it around and beat their nemesis. I think so.

Doinitin 34 - Cairo 28

Zimbabwe Black Rhinos vs. Nairobi Night Hawks
I think we're supposed to respect someone here too. No respect but you can probably beat the worst rated team in the Elephant Conference.

Zimbabwe 24 - Nairobi 17

Lake M'Zumba Cannibals vs. R.I.P. Phantoms
Lake M beats a low level team.

Lake M 40 - R.I.P. 10

Sierra Leone Magicians vs. Westerbotten Huskies
Sierra Leone tames the Huskies.

Sierra Leone 80 - Westerbotten 0

Cape Town Shinobis vs. Casablanca White Houses
Cape Town tears down the White Houses.

Cape Town 40 - Casablanca 13

dointin vs cairo, battle of the slow build teams. probably elephant game of the week, (next to kigali and zanzibar). I think it could go either way. I'm sure it'll be a 7 point game. Good predictions Juicepod

Didn't quite get the performance that we were hoping for against Ghana. Hopefully we'll do better this week. Good luck.

Not sure you can really call Cairo a slow build team anymore...that's how we started, but there were some extra guys laying around so they were brought in....some people call them ringers...

I wish I had a parent team that I could bring guys in from. Though a lot of guys from Fiji joined up with me, none of the players were from the Turtles.

Otherwise, the team is mostly my own players and people I recruited my ass off to get.

DD should bring in their parent team's best talent onto DD, that would be fun..right?

yea i wasn't really sure if the players you had from the slow build season were still slow building (which it looks like they are) but i know you brought in a ton of higher level guys last season as well. Probably the fastest slow build team in the history of GLB lol

Just to clarify, as I'm not sure where you are directing this...the guys that Cairo brought in were NOT the best talent...they were players that were on the bench and not getting too many reps per game.

There were only 5 that were brought in...maybe six if I miss counted.

Some of the agents boosted early instead of waiting...some still aren't boosted. It's a pretty good mix right now.
