1. WYW - my ‘may’ in the Wk 1 rankings should’ve been a ‘will’ - two HBs combined for over 1000 yards rushing & 24 TDs. In one game. One.
2. Newcastle - handled perennial cupcake & WYW looms Wk 4, but they better not look past Donegal, despite it’s low chemistry.
3. Brussels - early season cake walk continues & I don’t expect any major challenges until Wk 6.
4. Rome - only surprise thus far is the pass D not being better, but that can probably be blamed on the low chemistry number.
5. Danzig - got back on the winning side of things & have another walk in the park this week. Probably already gameplanning for the Wk 6 matchup w/ Brussels.
6. Plainview - 2-0 but about to hit a tough stretch.
7. Donegal - yours truly thinks somebody pulled a collective team boost recently...we’ll find out if it was worth it this week.
8. Irish - 0-2, but a tough early schedule. This is a quality team that should right the ship this week.
9. AFD - D played much better & the ground game got going, but having a tough time finding any weaknesses w/ Rome.
10. Portugal - gave the AFD a fight & caused some turnovers but couldn’t capitalize. Good news though, as Trondheim is next.
11. Mokum - when your highwater mark so far was a 121-0 win against a slow build team in the preseason, things aren’t good.
12. Atom - can they keep the WYW under 200?
13. Rotterdam - should get twomped again but then there’s Cologne, then things will suck again.
14. Trondheim - hey, they forced WYW to punt. Once.
15. Cologne - their last regular season win was against Dublin. That’s all I can come up with.
16. Dublin - why even bother?

The cake walk line was a bit tough. I think the Bulldogs are seeing a very nice turn around this year and its nice to be able to compete with the better teams in this division. Hopefully we will be able to continue to hang with the big boys in WEA1.
