I figure we can check in on our big brothers from time to time and see how they are doing:

Queensland:
Solid 1-1 start against two comparable teams in SE Asia Pro. Their last win was an impressive 38-17 stomping.

Forbidden City:
Tough luck in an 0-2 start in AAA, but they've faced some good teams (combined 4-0). Their second loss was a complete hearbreaker - taking a 17-0 lead into the 4th only to allow 3 TDS (including the winner with 1:50 left on a 60-yard pass):

Bangkok Buddhas:
Started out 2-0 in AAA with the benefit of playing one gutted team and one middle of the pack team.

Semarang Red Bulls:
Also started out 2-0 in AAA after playing one fairly pathetic opponent. But, they had a nice win in their second game against a solid team.

These two will play each other on 9/28. Could be for first place in AAA#2 Zeta!

If they're really doing that well, then it proves 2 things we've known all along.

AA4 is awesome...

And Zeta is weak all the way to the pros

UPDATE

Queensland Flash:
Currently 9-5 and in 7th place. Their last 2 games should be auto-wins, so they'll be in the playoffs. A couple of upsets could move them up a couple of spots, though. They've lost to the top 3 teams in their conference, so a bump into 4th/5th could help. I'm sure they wouldn't mind another shot at some of the top 3 teams either, though.

Forbidden City:
After an 0-2 start, we pulled it together and are now 11-3 in 3rd place. Our two remaining games are +3 matchups against a 9-5 Alpha team and a 12-2 Zeta team. Oddly enough, if we win our final game against the Yokohama Yaks from Zeta, it increases the chances of Semarang staying in 3rd. They beat us in a preseason game, but we ran medium passes and a specific run play each quarter until the 4th quarter... at which time we started having success again.

Bangkok Buddhas:
They are currently in 2nd place in Zeta, having only lost to the Yaks a couple games ago. Their next game is against the only undefeated team in Zeta, so a win will likely push them into 1st since their final opponent is 1-13 despite being an even matchup.

Semarang Red Bulls:
Currently tied for 3rd with the Yokohama Yaks and they have the tiebreaker. They need a win in their next game because they finish the season against the #1 team in Alpha (-6 matchup). The Yaks will win their next game against a gutted team, so our game will likely determine Semarang's 1st round matchup.
