Love the work as usual Dreven, its fun looking at these rankings.

one question. I assume you do your rankings based solely on offensive points totals? Just interesting as I feel Loch Ness has one of the nastier defenses in the conference as a whole and they get no love!

Would be cool to see rankings based on point differentials (scored - allowed). That may portray a more accurate picture of things.

I guess I should enjoy the ranking while it lasts, but we're not a top ten team in WEA #3. I hope we will be by playoff time.

2 answers..............the points will even out after about 4 games.....the formula is just too damn hard to put into a spread sheet that would not take hours each game. So, the formula i use is set up as an EASY to use formula, as opposed to the BEST formula...........sorry.
as for the predictions, probably a week away on those, again i apologize,

reason= i was 206 on the wait list to get a team one night, woke up the next morning with a team, and like children, those damn things need constant attention.....

in about a week i think i will have the out of control team under control.
I fell into a good situation, but, the owner left a few issues to fix.
and of course Offensive and defensive ai to set, players to recujirt........blah blah blah, excuses, excuses.........

It's even worse picking up a team that was pre-owned. Just like a pre-owned car, you have all kinds of problems to look for. And that is what dreven received.

On a lighter note, I'm glad to be on top, but sadly I do not think we deserve it. We blew out 2 horrible teams. I think we're top 10 easily, probably close to top 5, but I don't see us being #1. And I think dreven was wrong on one thing, it won't be sorted out by week 4, we still play the Monarchs this comming up week and it should be another blowout. I say by week 7 or 8 it will be sorted out. I'll enjoy it while we're here though.

the point advantage for the BCS formula will be sorted out around level 4, due to a highest score, and a lowest score being eliminated, and the others averaged, so, 4 may not be enough, but should be close.......

I didn't know you were removing the high and low... but I still think it will be wrong until everyone plays at least 2 good and bad games, which won't happen for Lewisburg itself until week 5.

Warrior General Games
