It seems for certain that this will be AA#3's last year together as I sense a re-alignment finally coming.

Lets make it a good year guys.

What a pile of crap. We work hard to have a fun quality league and some whiners screw it up.

well the current system is flawed. Just look at how many gutted teams are in our league now. Trophys this season are pretty much meaningless.

A restructure is way needed.

As much fun as has been had within this league - there are still plenty of teams that have been abandoned. So regardless of the fun most have - our league has seen plenty of gutted teams.

It is obvious that something needs to happen.

Hopefully it isn't something that happens every year. Perhaps once every 5 or so?

i don't mind balancing the teams out a little, but those of us who are doing things correctly shouldn't be forced to leave our league. I like the weather here in Africa. And Burundi has very weak extradition laws so I can get some top talent that may have run into some legal troubles.

Well we could make a list of Africa AA#3 teams that would like to request to stay together even if it means having us in a difference league/continent to allow balance in that tree, but still have us together, use LTD's post of how active we are and maybe this one as examples of how strong of a league we have going. Frankly our average levels are fairly close anyway.... What you think? Frankly if the main group of us could be in the same league I'd enjoy getting a crack at more of you elephant conference teams.

We just have Owners and GM's pm with this post and maybe if LTD can post up how we compare to other leagues in # of posts again.

Something needs to be done, but there is no good way to do it without upsetting a group of people.

Bort just needs to figure out what is best for the game in the long run and do it.

If people Bitch and leave, so be it, but the game needs to be better for those that stay.

As a high Lvl team in a lower conference, I don't like only having 3-4 competitive games a season.

I wish everygame would be like BBE vs. UN for me. I enjoy tough matchups and trying to outmaneuver my opponents.

I completely agree. I love the good games. I'd rather go 0-16 playing good teams than 16-0 beating up on a bunch of cupcakes. It's just really not very fun when you completely outmatch a team. Funny to see the stats and scores......but not much fun otherwise.

I'm know we would love to stay too. I think Bort should take teams that are gutted and put them in there own section/continent until they can build back up and place them somewhere once they can compete. Or take them and start them at the bottom again and just promote teams to take the place of the gutted.

I would love to stay with this group. UN and BBE are going to have some compitition I think this year from a couple of teams, so maybe they will stay with us!

Plus FredEx is funny when he isn't banned (when is his ban up anyway?)

the only part that sucks is this years accomplishment of advancing will be greatly cheapened. I am all for restructuring however.

I voted for maintaining everything as it is, but just increasing the rate of relegation/promotion. We'd have our solid core of the top 8 teams in the league, and over the course of the next 2-3 seasons would filter in and out the other 8 spots until equilibrium.

+1000000000

I think Bort could realign on the conferences and divisions. It would make sense to start teams that have been gutted back to the bottom of the pyramid. And the teams or owners who have a proven track record can keep moving up. There has to be a cycle or some way to allow everyone be happy. We have one owner in this conference that told us ahead of time that his team will no be able to compete. It is not fair to him to watch his team go 0-16 in his first season, so I think that team should have been moved to a lower level conference, and in about two seasons start moving up again. I rather see 16 teams that are fairly equal or just go to 8 team leagues and we play each other twice in a season. Alot of work needs to be done and I hope we can stay together.

I am speaking on the behalf of Tripoli Terror
