Wouldn't even have a bloody chance in hell against the best Linebacker in the league... named Jimmy Gulag.

How a level 1 piece of garbage toasted that pathetic team, I'll never know.

They must really, really suck.

Wow......Yea we are having issues here in Newport, but we are working on them......Already solved one of them. Had a total of 8 sacks I think in the first two games. Today we only had one, so we are working on our other issues too.....

You are an idiot. Your LB wouldn't be able to touch me. Most corners don't have the speed to stick with me. I doubt your LB has speed that is even within 25 of mine. My lvl 24 would run right by you. Heck my lvl 1 might even own you.

You're forgiven.

Some things aren't so simple as choosing which team you like. I didn't choose it I was born in to it. You talk a big game but you suck and everyone here knows you wouldn't be able to stop me. You suck. Go get me my water. Thats about the only way you should be on the same field as me. run along now and wash the towels.

I ain't afraid. He won't get close enough to touch me. Infact I may request to be sent right by him every play just to abuse him. That way I will never get thirsty since my waterboy will be right there.

I believe that this comment has been made moot by the final stats from this game. 5 TD's..... I really like my personal play of the day. Sir Cliff Branch 1 step away http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=173029&pbp_id=2189318

Helsinki - The Helsinki Devils called police Monday night for help searching for Jimmy Gulag because his therapist told coach Johnny Patches the linebacker mentioned suicide several times before driving away from his home with a gun.

Both Patches and Gulag have said what happened Monday night was overblown by the media. But the supplemental report filed Tuesday by Nashville police showed that Patches was worried about the linebacker after the call from Gulag’s therapist.

“I asked him, ‘What made her worry about him?’ Lt. Andrea Swisher wrote. “He stated, ‘His mood, his emotions, he wants to quit, and he mentioned suicide several times.’ He went on to state that he left the house with a gun.”

The Devils declined to comment on details of the report.

The Nashville City Paper obtained the report through a public records request and first reported the details Friday afternoon on its Web site.
Nashville police had been criticized locally for what appeared to be an immediate and strong response to help with a star GLB player. The Devils and Patches had only said they acted on the information they were given, and Patches has refused to say what those concerns were.

“Given the totality of the circumstances, the police department continues to believe that it acted responsibly and appropriately in this situation,” police spokesman Don Aaron said Friday.

Gulag seemed happy and laughed a bit Thursday when he discussed the past few days with reporters. He blamed his mother for overreacting and the media for making too much of nothing.

“Now I am OK. I was never depressed. I just hurt a little bit ... When it happens again, I’ll know how to handle it,” Gulag said.

Concerns over Gulag’s mental state began last Sunday when he was booed heavily after missing a tackle in the Devils’ 58-9 victory over the Grimm Reapers, and he didn’t look like he wanted to go back into the game for the next possession.

He went on the field after Patches pulled off his headset and talked with Gulag. But the linebacker was hit four plays later. Patches has only ruled Gulag out for Sunday’s game at Mont-Laurier.

However, Gulag talked with his therapist Monday and visited with Patches at his home. The coach told him to go take his MRI exam to determine the extent of the damage to his knee, but Gulag rescheduled the test for Tuesday.

Then he sped off from his home without a phone.

The Devils’ head of security notified police around 7:30 p.m. that he had a player “going off,” and Patches was in his truck when he saw Helsinki police in the parking lot at LP Field writing a report on a separate incident.

Gulag’s manager, Mike Mu, arrived at the stadium and told police he had tried to follow Gulag when the linebacker left his home. But Mu said he couldn’t keep up with Gulag on Interstate 65 despite driving 90 mph.

Patches connected police with Sheila Peters, the clinical psychologist who had met with Gulag earlier Monday. It was then that Gulag used the word suicide in conversations with her.

During the search for Gulag, Peters arranged for an evaluation by employees from a psychiatric hospital in Helsinki. Then Patches heard from Gulag’s agent that the linebacker was safe and at an apartment with a female friend.

The agent, o0lorain0o, told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Gulag had been watching football and eating chicken wings with a male friend during the four hours people were searching for the linebacker.

Police arranged for crisis negotiators and SWAT officers to be on hand. They searched Gulag for weapons when he arrived at the Devils’ headquarters around 11:30 p.m. They only found an unloaded handgun in the glovebox of his Mercedes.

Helsinki law allows an individual to possess an unloaded weapon provided there is no ammunition with it in the car.

“He was allowed to talk to his therapist and then he was released,” the police report stated.

Gulag won’t be making the trip with the Devils to Mont-Laurier. Patches said Friday injured players stay home to continue treatment.
