Here is my look at the pre-season rankings. Montreal is still the team to beat in the East but Peteborough and Sactown look very strong this season and Norfolk'n Way looks to round out the top 4.

1. Montreal Maniacs - Still the team to beat in the east.

2. Peterborough Goons - Will compete for first

3. Sactown Rage - Will compete for first

4. Norfolk'n Way - strong team but will need to work hard to beat Montreal Peterborough and Sactown

5. Niagara Parrots - Getting better and will put up good numbers this season.

6. Cambridge Thunder Cats - good team but has some work to do.

7. Manitoba Wild Boars - good team and will compete hard this season.

8. Lake Michigan Maelstrom - will get at least the last spot for the playoffs.

9. Alert Sentinels
10. Halifax Harpoons
11. Sacramento Sacrilege
12. Montreal Expos
13. Orange County Crips
14. Alabama Crimson Tiders
15. Texas Assasins
16. Albany Mochicans

I wouldn't count Alert out of that final playoff spot just yet.

I might think Norfolk'n might be a little higher too.

Quite a drop off after the top 9 maybe 10.

Haven't really kept up with the off-season comings and goings of all the teams though.

Alert knocked Way out of the playoffs last year. That sucked.

0. Yukon Silent Pwners - The team you all hope you follow to Canada AA#4 next season (we won't still be there but you can take our spot when we get promoted again!)

Can't still be the team to beat if you weren't the team to beat last year.

Just sayin

No one to talk to on the team?

THE PWNER: Sure you can. We were definitely the team to beat in the East last year. You beat us and good for you, but given previous results, we were that team!

Lucius: What do you think the score will be in our next game. I think Alert will win 21-17. I have just made the gameplan and I know where to hurt you
