Has anyone tried out the new advanced equipment, and what do people consider to be viable equipment.

Seen so far;

+1 Lead Block SA-worthless as it only works on lead blocking, not general blocking?

+1 Wrap Up Tackle SA-next to worthless?

+1 First Step SA-no idea how this would work, but could help an OT?

Best I've seen;

+2 Strength and +1 in Absorb Pain SA = $27k

Got that on a C, although currently can't afford it.

I got some shoes that are

2% to hold a block
+1 Strength

Went ahead and picked those up.

+2 jumping
+1 foundation SA
for about $60,0000


makes me wonder.. if jumping is worthwhile, or this is just a useless equipment!



everything else has been garbage (and full of tackling stuff...)

I've asked my team to only spend money on +2 stat. plus +1 position applicable SA equipment atm. Only seen one such item between all my players.

What's the point in shopping for high-level players who already have a full set of equipment with +5 attribute bonuses?

You can only upgrade new equipment with bonus tokens.

Sorry to hate a little bit but people just need to read Bort's announcement post, with quotes like "You can also turn in 10 bonus tokens along with some cash to upgrade one of the new advanced items with a +1 to an attribute." it'll make things clearer.

so far, i've only bought a 'Superior Black Visor, +1 Agility and Hold Block Chance +2%' for my OT.

+1 stamina and +1 SA(protector) $80k

...a +4 strength OR blocking, +1 SA piece?
(maybe SA Line General for Centers, maybe SA Pancake)

Figure that might be worth something to some linemen even w/o +attributes. Bought it btw.

This could be useful for Pancake addicts like me This upgraded to my tier could be the thing to buff my little OT to new heights with his pancaking.

+1 Pancake on my Guard,

+2 Confidence, +1 Get Low SA on my TE.

What's the point in buying a +2 item if the skill is not a skill you capped.

I'd rather have a "standard equipment" with strenght than have a +2 stamina if I do not plan to cap stamina....

The point is that these advanced equipment are considered "lvl 1 eq" for the purposes of upgrading them with bonus tokens. So it would take a Lot of bonus tokens to upgrade a piece of adv eq, it could potentially be much better than the "standard equipment"
