Even though it is only preseason, games have started. Use this thread to give shout outs if you feel necessary to your opponent after the game.


Mean Machine....good game today. You look like you have a VERY good squad. You gave us a good preaseason beatdown. Im sure you will be there in the end battling.

Im saying this now (being a Zeta member), ALPHA looks pretty stacked this season. Zeta is tough as well, but I see some slober knockers that are going to occure in ALPHA.

We have been looking forward to playing all you guys in the Pros. And also playing some of our old rivalries. There are still some more teams in AAA#1, worthy of playing in the Pros also. Hopefully in a few seasons, Oceania Pro will be regarded as the best league in GLB.

I agree that there are some very strong teams still sitting in AAA#1. I am sure that Brantford, Tonga, Vanuata, and Melbourne can all agree with that.

Good Game. You guys are much improved. Very good off-season pickups to help the team. I expect you guys to be in the playoffs again, fighting for your chance at the Championship. Good Coaching as always.

GG Brisbane Heat. You completely shut down our offense today, but we'll take something good away from this...our D and special teams forced some turnovers and scored twice while the offense sputtered.

Can't wait for a rematch!

Some random comments.

Things shook down about as I'd expected, but a few of the margins of victory were surprising.

Brantford beating down Brisbane badly was a bit of a shock. Looks like the 'Stangs are back after an off year in Season 4.

Mean Machine took it to Wagga Wagga. I knew MM was going to win, but Wagga was a strong finishing team last season, and I really expected more fight out of them.

My Tahi put down a resounding win against Perth. Perth isn't elite, but they are solid and I expected a closer game.

Same goes for Banzai over Tongan. A convincing win was expected, a train wreck was not.

The Heat sent Melbourne down in their debut. I honestly through this could go either way. The Heat are definitely a team to be reckoned with again.

Good game guys. You threw nicely on us, easier than I would have liked to see. Looks like I have to go back to the drawing board there. You are definitely improving every season and I'm sure you'll be in the playoffs sooner than later bro.
