Well looking at rosters it appears that the top four teams to beat are: In no particular order

Buffalo, Ujung, Davao, Singapore

Not a huge surprise...if anyone thinks different post why...

Davao - Looks TOUGH. Man I am hoping some of your guys already boosted or you guys might be the team to beat. I really see no holes!

Buffalo - Very solid. Looks like they returned almost everyone of value

Medan - They will be in the mix again. Solid roster

Ho Chi Minh - Just don't get it. Sign some depth and you guys would be pushing the top!

Ujung - Solid, but they might have some depth issues to solve

Several others that could be in the mix. There are a few throwing in the towel, but for the most part owners are trying to compete. Should be fun

Yeah, we have them in scrimmage today, I'm glad because honestly they look like the toughest team in the league atm.. good recruitment there, your offense is just.. hmm.. a DC's worst nightmare..

We have a player or two coming in at the beginning of the season and
opted to go with DE's for our OLB backup positions instead of LB's
this season. Overall we'll be running the same intended roster count as
in Season 4.

Ujung Pandang has improved significantly on offense (Offensive Line/QB,
WR) and defense (D-Line, Secondary).

Our passing game struggled a bit last season. I think we'll be much better
in the air and more likely to make opposing teams pay for stacking the line.

Cheers,

I may be mistaken but it looks like Medan may have improved significantly this
offseason.

I'll get you guys a report after our clash on Game 1 for sure.

Davao does look wicked. How'd they sign so many high level CB's? For real.
Will it make a difference?

I think it's automatic to expect Singapore and Buffalo to be battling for
1st and 2nd place if Davao doesn't push both down the standings. These
are probably the top 3 teams.

I think Ujung is well capable of grabbing first place themselves and I
definitely want to improve on our 4th place ranking from last season.

Other teams I like:
Moscow and Maui.

Initial Playoff Predictions:
1st: Ujung Pandang Warriors
2nd: Singapore Nose
3rd: Buffalo Rampage
4th: Davao Dogs
5th: Medan Shipwreckers
6th: Maui TetraHConnoisseurs
7th: Moscow Polar Bears

1st through 6th looks too close to call at initial observation
and I really hope our conference digs in and posts a few surprises.

Gotta tell you, very reasonable chances of Ujung beginning the season
0-2. I think we're currently aiming to start out about 6-2 for the first
half.

Cheers,
Sahoj

nice writeup...the one thing I was thinking was the two A teams from last year have a slight leveling up advantage...once you hit lv 25/26 you gain like 100xp game...they have a ton of guys under this...so I think whoever plays them early has a better chance of winning division...because they could be decent by game 13/14...

I think Chengdu will definitely make a playoff push as well. We play Singapore in our first game so I guess we'll find out quick.

Our offense is solid but we are still filling a few holes on defense.

Great time to play us. I destroyed our Chemistry for sure to start the season

Heh. It takes more than a chemistry penalty to beat Singapore.

I totally ignore Chemistry unless it's in the red.

I can't give out a good opinion on the Vipers because you guys
appear to still be putting together a defense. It looks like
you've done an admirable job putting together a competitive
offense. You've also probably got sound and enthusiastic
team management, so it really depends how well you do during
this last recruiting stretch.

Ours is way down too, and it's still gonna go down further. We've had to rebuild most of our team.
