Well so our owner didn't login for 2 days because he was doing the family thing. And he loses the team. Now our team is being gutted and traded off everywhere. Sad day because we were really looking to turn the ship around. The owner is trying to get everything resolved with the Admins, so hopefully things reversed. Best of luck to you all, this sucks though cause this league kicked ass.

Damn... I'm seriously sorry to here this is happening to people.

2 days? That doesn't even seem possible. I mean, I took over the Fire here after the former owner was inactive for 3 weeks. As far as I know they don't even boot inactive owners without someone contacting the admins first anyway. That is crazy and makes no sense.

GM of the new team here. Sent a PM to Darkhelmet just now. As for our plan, my cousin has been on the waiting list for a while and we've already recruited our roster. It likely isn't going to be competitive in the AA level, but most of them would still like to play together. We have a long-term plan, and that plan requires cash. We have no problem if the Admins would like to 'trade' all of these guys in one lump to a team where they can play together. As for their owner, the policy on GLB is 15 days of inactivity would lose him the team. Not 2 days...I can't answer as to how many days it was, all I can say is my cousin and I will be happy to try and work with the admins and previous players to come up with a resolution that works for everyone. But that resolution should end with my cousin having a team and not having to give up the construction and finances we'd have here. That's the primary reason we didn't want a Canada BBB team is the financial difficulty of starting the first season, and the level cap would cost us a few of the players we'd recruited who will be joining us in the next few days.

I wish you all the very best with what happens to FPQA. You are correct, it's 15 days of inactivity that are required for a new team, no less. There are a wide array reasons upon reasons his team may have got revoked: inactivity, debt, selling it back. But it's good to see you in this league, and I'd like to see FPQA (or whatever it may be renamed) stay in AA for a long while to come.

Obviously the policy requires more than 15 days of inactivity to have a GM lose a team.

However, I can assure you that the owner had not been inactive for 15 days. Thats over 2 weeks. We were messing around and scrimmaging during the offseason to help out another friend's team.

Look past the "rule of 15 days inactivity" and realize how messed up the situation is. Just because its supposed to be 15 days, doesn't mean that everything works the way its supposed to. We have no reason to lie about this. Ask the guys in Zeta Oceania 2. See what they say about our desire to stay in this league and be competitive next season.

Oh, I know you have that desire to stay in the league. I loved how hard you all fought last year to take out Asau and Dirty South to stay here. And I'd love to have you here. The only two questions I have would be:
1. Was the owner in debt/did he default on a loan?
2. Is he sure he didn't accidentally sell it back?

I can guarantee he didn't sell it back. He was one of the most confused people on the team.

Also, as far as I know, we had about 3 Million dollars in team money and he had more than enough Flex in his account to renew the team for this coming season.

Hi All,

I am the previous owner of FPQA, and I want to set the record straight.

1. Was the owner in debt/did he default on a loan?
A) No, we had 1.5 million dollars and two stadium upgrades were being completed over the off-season. I was projecting to be 5-6 million in the black!

2. Is he sure he didn't accidentally sell it back?
A) No, I did no such thing! I, still, have the Alert messages from the Admin.

3. Where you inactive for more than 15 days?
A) No, I was on two or three times during the week. I hadn't logged in since Wednesday. I was busy with Family this weekend and Did not have PC access at work for two days. I was moving into a new location at work and it took IT a few days to get my PC up and running.

I have messaged the Admin of this situation and hoping to hear back soon. I am very upset with this situation and want to apologize to all my players for this injustice.

Blake,

As I told darkhelmet in a PM, we'd love for support to be able to work out a resolution that is suitable for both parties. If they can get you another team, and move you and your players back into Oceania, and us to that other location with a similar setting we'd be fine. We can't go to a capped league as a few of the trades we've done today are to bring in higher level guys (lv20&21) but if we could work something out that keeps all of you from getting messed with, and doesn't interrupt our plans for our team, we don't have a long affiliation with this league like you do. Over time I'm sure we'd grow to like this region. We've halted further trades until some response is given, except for jnort...who asked for his players to be traded to his Africa A team.

My cousin had me send a message to support for him, and we gave support both of our phone numbers. He is working tonight, but either of us would be happy to try and work out a situation that accommodates everyone.

Regards,

The Don

p.s. Just wondering...I do believe you that none of the above conditions caused you to lost your team. However how long did you have the team? Was it 2 seasons? If so, did you renew your ownership? That may be what happened?!

As the other GM I just want to state that this forum isn't the place for these posts, as they are full of misinformation and do little for both parties involved.

From my understanding if this was some "glitch" in the system Admin will take care of it. Either way we want to make sure we can come to a conclusion moving forward with the new team that the players find homes, starting positions, and we can use the cash to improve the finances of the team.

We understand your side of the situation and we have no control over why-how the team was assigned to us. But fairly we were on the list, received our team and being that over the past season we have been actively recruiting personal friends and choice players to join the team; we must move forward with our plan.

We look forward to playing in Oceania AA#2 if that is the final result and building a great team and enjoying the competition we face. It will be a slow road but our plans are long term!

This might be it exactly: if the old owner hadn't taken the proper steps to renew his ownership, he might've defaulted that way, too. An owner automatically gets his team for 2 seasons, but he has to buy more on the end of that. It doesn't automatically draw points from your account, you have to go deposit them yourself. This seems to be the most likely situation.

Regardless of how this turns out, it'll be great to play against you this season in some capacity.

I'm almost certain that this is it, looking back on it.

Initial ownership is 3, not 2 seasons I thought.
