ESPN: With most of the focus on passing these days in GLB, teams are doing everything they can to sure up there secondaries in time for the Leagues 5th season. The teams that do it best, will be the ones that launch themselves in the playoffs in style! Tonight we catch up with what most consider the best secondary in AFRICA. Who might they be you ask? Well look no further than the Kings! With blazing speed, and coverage skills to match, it's hard to find a better and more gifted group of players!
With the new addition of season 3 Africa AA#3 defensive player of the year Brandi Mceuen, who in season 3 picked off 11 passes, returning 5 of them to the house, this team is becoming the obvious favorite to contend for the championship in season 5. We were lucky enough to catch up with the secondary known as "the flawless four"! Corny, yes, dominate...most definately!
ESPN:Guys, I have to ask, do you truly believe that you are the best?
BMAC:I'll get this one guys, best does not describe us, we are flawless...perfect, dominating, unbeatable.
ESPN: Wow, so confidence is not an issue?
Prime Times: No, and why should it be. We have all proven that individually, we can dominate an opponent's wr! collectively....well let's just say, we are planning on scoring more td's than allowing them!
ESPN: So who is the leader of this secondary?
BMAC: I would not consider anyone, the so called "leader" we all feed off eachother's energy. If it's a pic by me or Prime Times or an ungodly hit by Next Victim or john snow. Let me tell you, that if a wr gets by me on a slant, i actually feel bad for them, because nothing is more unforgiving then a blind side hit from the hardest hitting safeties in the league.
John Snow: Shoot, just yestersay in practice our new addition at wr, caron jenkins spent 15 minutes calling coach mom after a quick slant placed him 5 yards from the original contact.
ESPN: So you guys take no mercy on your teamates as well?
Next Victim: We are always unforgiving....theres no room to take it easy in this league, our teamates do the same, and we all appreciate it...in the long run, it will only make us better than the best...not the rest...the best!
ESPN: So what are some goals you have set for yourselves this season.
john snow: we do not have individual goals, as a unit, we are not going to allow more than 3 passing td's this season, and are planning to force 20+ turnovers, betweeen pics and forced fumbles!
ESPN: 3 tds' i thought you were flawless....
BMAC: we have to include the backups too bud...we are a team. lol!
ESPN: Guys, it's been a fun chat, i wish you the best, and look forward to the matchups you face this season, I'm sure this interview will turn some heads, and will bring some added challenges to you all!
P.T.:challenges are welcome, but, im sure every wr in our league will be thinking about who they are lining up against when they face the Kings!
