At a press conference earlier today, new team owner John Lane was introduced to the press. Late last night a deal was struck between Lane and the former owner, details about the deal have yet to be released.

Lane acknowledged that the team will be in a rebuilding phase most likely for the next 2-3 seasons. He will take on the duties of Head Coach and has yet to announce his coaching staff (ooc: looking for experienced staff -- offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, special teams and talent scout)

The press was thanked and promised that there would be a press conference held before the team's first game with much more detail.

I have two RB's and a QB for you, I'll be patient, will sign for the entire rebuilding if necessary.

that way, when we win the title three years from now, we can go back to this day.
