Jet sold Seattle back

THOUGHTS?

Thoughts are that lot of teams are going to get sold back due to this being the end of the second season paid for as part of the original 1000 flex point package. 1 team +2 seasons paid.

I would guess a lot of people just wanted to try it out and see how it went, not looking to creating a 30 season dynasty.

Well I hate to see anyone sell off and bolt, but hopefully the new owner will keep with the Africa theme instead of naming his team something like New Jersey Cowboys. I hate that crap.

I just hope whoever comes in keeps the team competitive.

Seattle was one of those teams that was just impossible to predict. On paper they looked like a top flight team, but when it came to the actual games they were very inconsistent. One week they would beat a great team and the next week they would lose to a team out of the playoffs. Hopefully the new owner is able to keep most of their players under contract and keep them competitive.

That sucks. I want good competition!

That's depressing but not surprising. I really liked JCF but I figured from his activity the past few weeks that they were gonna be done at the end of the year :/

I agree completely with this. Some teams are able to grab the talent needed to be competitive either through caring about this game more than others, putting in more time than others, having more connections than others, or just plain luck. That doesn't mean that the owner isn't just like any other average GLB'er who wanted to try his luck at team ownership for a few seasons and see how it goes.

like other MMORPGs, this game is a time suck.

This may turn into a very top heavy league this season. The Nethawks were never fun to gameplan for. Like Cannon said they just did not seem to be consistant. Atleast most of the guys that keep this forum going are still here.

GM us2plus2 bought the team and saved it from oblivion.

No kidding. It's like a 2 man game.

I am the new owner of the NEThawks, Jet will stay on board as a GM he had to much going on to maintain the team and will pop in every once in a while to give you all hell.
