I'm new to Zeta for season 5. It looks like you put in a ton of work on this, well done. I'm looking forward to being a part of a league that does an All-Pro team to this degree.

One question. How is it that the Offensive MVP of the conference, Mike Magistro, was only good for 2nd team QB? That doesn't make much sense.

Welcome! Doesn't make much sense, but that's how the voting went.

Thanks for doing this, glad we got it finished. Looked scary there for a while. Thanks to everyone who voted for players on Berlin.

I'm not so sure I agree, as Bubba Sims and Fat Batchsturd held Magnus to only 1 total sack in four games at RT, meaning he didn't get any in the three other games. Honerable mention, huh? Originally posted by AnotherLawyer

Well the awards are just for this season, they're not career achievement awards. We played once this season and Magnus got a sack in that game.

If the awards were just for 'how did you do against berlin' though, then stockholm and landstuhl's entire OL's would win since Magnus got 0 sacks against both, and we only got 1 sack as a team in both. Bort screwed with the pass rushing routes players took multiple times this season. So the timing of games helped too. Look at Magnus' gamelog and the odd 0/1 sack games bunched together there, when Bort really nerfed pass rushing: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_game_log.pl?player_id=34862

It wasn't until the week we played Bordeaux that it was again changed to the pass rush style that's currently in the game.

Also, and I didn't see all the votes, but I'd imagine it wouldn't help your cause that you guys ticked off a lot of people this season.

Sorry. All I did was the tally the votes I got. Several teams didn't vote, including Birmingham...not that Birmingham's vote would have changed where Bubba Sims and Fat Batchsturd landed. FWIW, I voted for Fat Batchsturd. Can't remember if I voted for Bubba Sims or not.

Edit: Actually, I voted for Fat Batchsturd, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Big Bubba II. That's a lot of cats from one offensive line on my ballot.

I think it's kind of weird that you're crying about Birmingham having only one first-teamer, one second-teamer, and two honorable mentions from an offensive line that consists of five starters. That's 4/5 of your starters, dude. Don't get me wrong--I think Birmingham has fantastic players all the way through the depth chart. I just think it's kind of crappy for you to stick your head in here ex post facto when your team didn't even submit a vote and bitch about how other teams voted.

Actually I chose to stick away from voting because everyday life took place. This league is the greatest of all of GLB. I could care less who I piss off and who I don't because you can't make everyone happy. Thanks for taking the time to do this though as it takes a lot of time to do it. There are still a lot of good teams in WE AA#1 that is for sure and it doesn't get any easier as the teams that get promoted always seem to be very competitive. The teams that move down prove over time not to be slouches. It doesn't really matter because in the next few seasons all the good teams will be up at the top and all the not so good teams will be weeded down below.
