LOL -- yep, gotta love the scrimage game. I see them the same way. If you want to try some new stuff, now is the time. Better to experiment now and loose, than try during real season
But I do find it interesting that you do your experimental plays w/ your backups. I presume so that how they will pan out through 1st string wont be scouted. Quite crafty of you, if that was intentional.
we aren't trying any new "plays" or "settings" per se, maybe one or two minor things, but more giving a shot at the backups to see how they would do if they started. Back up QB, 3 Backup WR's, a backup RB, T, G, TE etc.
On D, however, we are trying out the 3-4. So that should be interesting.
