We beat the Fortaleza Longhorns today 38-27 (http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=136364) to wrap up the Tournament title which pretty much confirms what I already knew. We can do well in scrimmages against teams who look better on paper in much higher leagues (USA Pro, USA AAA, Canada Pro, etc) when it doesn't matter, but we can't win our own league tournament. Nothing against any of the teams in the A6 tourney. You are all very good teams.

No trophies will be handed out but it is a small consolation after an early exit in the A6 tourney.

Mpowell and I were discussing this recently.

We actually think that A6 is a very difficult division for it's level, especially when you add back in the teams that we started out with.

This is a ridiculously stingy division. I really hope DV can get back on it's feet and compete next year.

Absolutely. If Richey and San Fran were still in this league it would be an achievement just to make the playoffs.

I hope A6 continues to be one of the top leagues in the game. With additions like Tana River, Los Alamos, PTT, and Arlington it looks like the league will continue to be competitive for seasons to come. Even teams like Hellas and Brooklyn could be serious contenders in a few seasons.

You came in last season, not this one lol. Obviously you guys are implied as one of the tops in the league.

I just want to add that the Guadalajara Gladiators that are coming up next season are no slouches either. They gave Los Alamos fits in BBB#11. The Western Conference will only get tougher next season.

Considering Horde or Chicago will be moving out, its going to be hard for a team to replace that kind of strength so I feel competition in A6 West will most likely decline a bit because we will lsoe one of those teams. I know G.G is solid but I just dont think they could be on the same lvl as one of thsoe teams. Hopefulyl im wrong though, we like the tough competition alot, it keeps things interesting.
