Hi guys!

Sorry to be the guy that takes over after something great comes to an end.

As it stands now, we're pushing very heavily in the recruiting front. I've got a GM and could definitely use another 2 or 3.

It would have been great if more guys had stayed around but it looks like people jumped ship long before I arrived to try to convince them otherwise.

It's been said that Thessaloniki will probably be a free win. Probably. Chances are unless some of the guys I've been recruiting sign, this will be my only season in this league before relegation.

Indeed, as far as GLB goes I'm a rank amateur. My goal is to have one group of guys on the front lines fighting for playoff spots, while another group slow-build their way up. We shall see.

Best of luck to you all.

If it is any consolation, Dublin was 0-33 when I took over in season 3. We just avoided relegation then competed well in season 4.

Yes Dublin had a great season props to that.

I think this coming season will be the most interesting yet!

I have now met someone with more players than me. How did you sign all those guys in their twenties and still only have to pay them less than 20,000/year? Interesting you GM another team in Alpha in addition to your team.

Yeah how is it that you own one team and GM another in your own conference?

not being funny mate - but our team is a very long way off from being playoff contenders like SS's whores. he could set his tactics for his players to play the game blindfolded and they'd still probably just edge the game!! maybe in a few seasons - if we pick up some real good quality from somewhere then maybe his GM status will be re-considered - but for now - hes done us a great favour by helping us out!!!

Plus I think SS was looking for a new forum as his VC forum is always full of arguments - they can't get on in there

Sam is classy so it shouldn't be a problem.

That... and with apologies to the Macedonians, the game's result isn't really in question. They'd probably both benefit from treating it as a scrimmage and testing out strategies without getting so crazy as to affect the league result.
