I found a computer to use to look in on things. I had no clue how we did, as I'm without power. We took a hard hit from the storm in our area. I could be without power for weeks. At least my brother, the DC is back. He'll be running things until I can come back.

Glad to see that at least your person made it through the storm unscathed.

Best of luck to you guys as you try and get life back to normal. I think everyone, especially those of you in Louisiana and Mississippi, is breathing a sigh of relief that it didn't turn out to be another Katrina.

This storm was much different than Katrina. Katrina hit New Orleans hard, as with the rest of the eastern part of the state.

This storm hit Baton Rouge in a way that has not been seen since 1965. A lot of infrastructures statewide have been severly damaged. It's like the storm hit in such a way that did wide spread damage throughtout. It's just not getting any press, because it's not New Orleans.

I have no power, phone, or running water. 5 days without a shower sucks.

We'll bounce back, but we also have our eyes on Ike.

I got a shower at my sister's yesterday, so I'm good.
