Not a fact. It was nothing more than coincidence. there were very few teams left in the playoffs after you guys lost. The odds were very good that they would win the conference. This year you had a 50/50 shot at being able to continue.
Who cares if we are the first team from the west to lose? All that means is Carolina is a very fine team and they won a game. Has nothing to do with trends. all three seasons were totally independent of one another.
