I'm bored, dudezz.

Elephant Conference Playoff Outlook
by RTJakarta

Well, let's start with the first round, shall we?

#8 Babylon Bombshells @ #1 USAORG Legionnaires: The Legionnaires won this match up in week one by a robust 28 points. Except to see much of the same thing. Even with Mikuru, Haruhi, and Yuki, the Bombshells just don't matchup with the defending champs. Expect the Legionnaires to win big again, 44-6.

#5 Conakry Coyotes @ #4 Cairo Emperors: The Coyotes took a surprising 23 point loss in the regular season to a tough Cairo squad. Conakry's disappointing 10-6 season showing could be indicative of their playoff performance, which doesn't have a walk in the park to start it off. While boasting one of the most talented teams in Elephant, the Coyotes will fail again to get it done, but will only lose by 6...24-18.

#7 Tangiers Cape Buffalo @ #2 Tsavo Maneaters: A 16 point win over Tangiers isn't much surprise. Tsavo is easily the one of the premier teams in Elephant, and played well down the final stretch, even winning over the Bugeaters in week 16. Expect the regular season to repeat itself, and the Maneaters will feast on Cape Buffalo, 34-7.

#6 Zambia Hungry Hungry Hippos @ #3 Zambia Zombies: The battle for kinda-Southern Africa will commence in the first round, and a 31 point win like what was had in the regular season over the Hippos will be what we'll be looking at in Round 1. Elephant is extremely top heavy, and there the streak of no upsets will carry through through Round 1, as the Zombies eat the brains of the Hippos, 35-3.

Second Round

#4 Cairo Emperors @ #1 USAORG Legionnaires: The Legionnaires got by by less than a touchdown in this regular season matchup. Look for that gap to be even smaller, as this will be the best nailbiter in the playoffs. The lack of going 16-0 will propel the Legs to plan hard, and they'll scrape by 21-20.

#3 Zambia Zombies @ #2 Tsavo Maneaters: A high scoring victory for the Maneaters will...put me to sleep, really....zzzzzzz.....wat. Oh yeah. Tsavo. Yeah. Again. No upsets. (Jeez Elephant, get more talent.) Maneaters win 35-24.

Conference Finals
#2 Tsavo Maneaters @ #1 USAORG Legionnaires: Tsavo gets their due respect, and will make it get their shot at the Legionnaires with the Elephant title on the line. The two combined for almost 60 points in week 5, and I actually don't expect that. I think the title game will be more defensive, but the Legionnaires will continue their attempt to be APL's premier franchise, as they win 24-14.

Yeah....about halfway through I realized I really didn't want to keep going...but I didn't wanna waste my progress.

10-6 is very disappointing when you have people constantly calling for 20-0/title/etc etc.

35 minus 3 is 32.

Nice Job RT.

GG to Tangiers... keep this improvement up and you'll be a real threat next season, I look forward to it.
