Our other GM broken543 is the one in charge of our finances. Him and the owner gogolct knew what they were doing since the beginning.

On the subject of finances, once this 'Fame' system goes into effect, I can see a huge number of agents turning into insufferable primadonnas.

Apparently your fame score will be affected by how high your pay is(not taking into account signing bonuses), and what sort of stats you put up. With bonuses that range from more ways to get money, and possibly special training or equipment.

I'm trying to stay optimistic about it as something new for non-team owning/non-GM players to do, but I can see it negatively affecting the game at large as well.

yea that is gonna be bad i think.

i hate this 'fame' nonsense. expect WR and CBs to really annoy. stupid idea. utterly stupid. it'll make more naiive owners go for broke for the signature and more gutted teams if owners aren't careful. just plain and uttery stupid

the financial aspect of the game needs heavy tweaking, teams in our league with massive winning streaks gain a massive fanbase. but the moment they go up and start losing, the fanbase dwindles. it should be enough for many 'paying fans' to pay to watch higher quality opposition

if anyone has played a sim called, Football Manager or World Socccer Manager, there is an inbuilt 'expectation for the season' for both fans and owner. so for the newly promoted teams that would have low fan expectations for a 'brave fight against relegation' the fanbase will not dwindle as heavily as it does now

this gme currently has a vicious financial cycle that increases the gap between the rich and poor - this is for another forum altogether but i needed to get that off my chest lol
