Warrior General Games

Some really tight games this week in Alpha Conference - here is a run down on the overall results:


GAME 1
Little Italy Goodfellas vs.Christiania Tigers 31-33

The Goodfellas played a great game against the Tigers however, the Tigers just pulled that one out of the fire. Whoever comes up against the Goodfellas in the playoffs - better watch out


GAME 2
Frankfurt Sentinals vs. Paris Dream Bolts 12-13

Very close game just as expected, the Sentinals intercepted the Bolts three times - Bolts sealed it with a field goal 7 minutes from time. Well played Bolts!


GAME 3
Aberdeen Angry Scotsmen vs Berlin Storm 13-6

Another win for the Angry Scotsmen - the overall result does not quite reflect the dominance of the Scotsmen in this game. They went into a 13 point lead, Berlin's TD coming with a couple of minutes left in the third quarter


GAME 4
Paris Gloutons vs. Eindhoven Eagles 31-34

Looks like to have been a humdinger of a game that was only settled in OT - 35 yard field goal!


GAME 5
Team Liquid vs. Portsmouth Computers 115-0

Fishball with another MVP performance - 26 Rec, 446yds, 7 TD


GAME 6
London Minotaurs vs. Omaha Beach Blackshirts 41-6

The Minotaurs ran out victorious against the Blackshirts. Highligh were the two return TD's by Jay Olson, one from the game kick off


GAME 7
Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Buckingham Wild Boars 7-83

411 rushing yards took care of Frankfurt - main performers for the Wild Boards were

Second Coming HB
28 Rush, 213yds; 0 Rec, 0yds; 6 TD
and
Ciaran Bailey FB
9 Rush, 21yds; 0 Rec, 0yds; 5 TD


GAME 8
Brussels Massacre vs. London Avengers 3-10

With a 10 nil lead at halftime, the Avengers brought their advantage home and ran out quite comfortable winners



What a round of game today - wonderful advertisement for the strength of the Alpha Conference!

all can happen between these 3 teams as:

Dream Bolts lost to Eagles an beat the Team Liquid
And Eagles have lost to the Team Liquid....

Dream Bolts @ Husavik Whalers (9-6)

Logically Dream Bolts and Eagles win while team Liquid loose... so we go for:

6 Team Liquid 11-5-0 L1

Avengers looks already out of the run, bun if they win we can have a surprise as:

Scostmen won over Goodfellas but lost to the Avengers, and Goodfellas beat Avengers...

To be simple, all this three teams have to win there final game !!!

just in my opinion

you may be right although, in the last three seasons, you have not beaten the Minotaurs yet ... i guess every series has to come to an end at some stage

since we have our new alcoolic GM helping Nans we're on a raise... hope it will go like this to be promoted this year despite the PO looks very, very, hard this year for everyone...

i dont forget that each year PO give lots of surprise...
