wow. What a stunner. (thanks for throwing the game guys though lol)

edit--all the scores this week look screwy though. Even Black Sea and Budapest barely escaped.

That would be unfortunate change really. I mean FG kicker going 2/6 after 5 games of perfection? Not likely...

ah -- the schedule is not our (the Vampires) friend -- down for the last playoff spot against Columbus -- we have the Wheatfield -- they have Bratislava

crap -- it can happen --- 'fingers crossed'

At least the chaos have added some players. They are a lot better than the beginning of the season. Just trying to shed you a glimmer of hope

Damn, we gave Kosovo a run for its money, but couldn't get it done. Hopefully get a second chance sometime in the playoffs!

Dont count the chaos out, we sure as hell arent. We had a tough loss today against kiev, not sure if they threw their game or not. Hopefully we squeak into the playoffs, but I really dont want to play kosovo or wroclaw, so 3 ways we can be screwed really.

The Crush played a good game. I haven't looked at the tape yet, but we did modify our AI a bit (probably too much). Honestly, we were worried you guys were going to pull it out and force us into a bad spot in the playoffs.

It's funny how critical the last game of the season is going to be for so many teams. Who would have thought a first season would be so tight?

Good game, Crush. You held us to no touchdowns. That was impressive.

We did have a crumbling

Well, here's what happened with that:

1. I am a relatively inexperienced owner who didn't understand how finances worked, game strategy, etc.

2. Because of this, all of our players managed to have no stamina left (below 50%).

3. So nobody could really play against players who were at 100% stamina.

Not excuses, just explanation!

So even though nearly 100% of my team has expiring contracts at day 40, I'm hoping that next year will be better for old Kazan and we can keep some players. If not, we'll figure something out. We had fun this year nevertheless, and now that I am getting the hang of things, I expect it will be better (or not).

As an owner, I still have a long way to go, and I take 100% responsibility for it.

Just for the record, Black Sea's offense didn't scout the game at all and instead planned a game to achieve a few goals of it's own. I actually was expecting to lose the game going into it, tbh.

EDIT - we already had #2 slot locked up, so winning wasn't nearly as valuable as toying with the tactics.

EDIT2- I don't want to take anything away from the Tanners though, their offense controlled the clock a LOT more than I had anticipated. So kudos for sure.

My bet is Spiders threw the game vs Wheatfield to put Sharks into 5th place, thereby putting the sharks into the same bracket as the Spiders - all in an effort to prevent the Sharks from having an opportunity to attempt to knock the Pirates out of the Playoffs before our fated rematch.

amirite?

Aha so thats what happened with the 5th placing dont worry we will meet next season again pirate scum!
