5(add). How are ties broken in the standing?
-----a. If there are only 2 teams, it's just based upon the head-to-head matchup
-----b. If there are more than 2 teams, then it's based upon these factor in this order:
1. # of head-to-head wins against the other teams with the same record
2. # of points scored
3. # of points allowed. In this case, there's a four way tie between San Antonio Natives, Macedonia Marauders, Springfield Isotopes, and Monty Pythons. Using criteria 1, San Antonio and Macedonia are tied at 2W-1L; Springfield and Monty are tied at 1W-2L. Moving to criteria 2, San Antonio beats Macedonia with 407 pts scored to 394. Springfield beats Monty with 443 pts to 361. Even though Springfield scored more points than San Antonio, San Antonio gets the nod because they had the better record between the tied teams.
