Lots of moving and shaking this week. These power rankings reflect more how the team is playing NOW and recently then over the course of the whole season.

Team Name/Record/Prev Week
1) Saskatchewan Sasquatches 14-0 1
Just keeps on winning, and will keep winning. Won't be challenged again until playoffs.

2) Sudbury Spartans 12-2 4
Has the most convincing victories and the closest losses in the East.

3) Halifax Hashishim 12-2 5
Showed they are a true contender knocking off QC, and taking the #1 seed in the process.

4) St. John's Salty Dogs 10-4 9
Who ever would have thought they'd be this high at this point in the season? (besides Duce... )

5) Queen City Black Cats 12-2 2
Lost a big game, and it doesn't get any easier with Nebraska coming to town.

6) Hillsburgh Hillbillies 11-3 7
Good win over Cold Lake keeps this team moving up.

7) Nebraska Husker Maniacs 11-3 6
Got an easy W, but this next week will be tough. If they can win this, they'll have the tiebraker over QC.

8) Vancouver Vindicators 11-3 11
Ok, I must admit...I didn't think this team would win over the Vikings. They did, and they deserve to be this high. They are clearly a top ten team now.

9) Cheyenne Mountain Air Force 11-3 3
Big loss against a very good Salty Dogs team. What does this say about their playoff chances when it all starts?

10) Vinland Vikings 10-4 8
They lost again...not sure how with all that talent. #10 is a long drop from the #1 spot they started in.

11) Manitoba Icemen 10-4 10
Has one more easy game vs the Smoke before a big game against Nebraska. That game in particular I am looking forward to.

12) Calgary Thunder 9-5 12
Great win over a tough team. They should win over ISJ, but the last game against the Salty Dogs is looking very imposing right now.

13) Winnipeg Warriors 7-7 14
Finally evened up their record. They can play well, they just haven't done it consistently enough.

14) Red Deer Blue Elk 8-6 15
Responded with a shutout win after being shutout last week.

15) Montreal Canadiens 9-5 16
I still don't think this team is quite as good as its record, but the playoffs will be the final word on that.

16) Saskatchewan Beavers 7-7 13
Clearly back on the losing streak, can they stop the bleeding against the Wrestlers?

17) Revelstoke Revolution 7-7 18
Needs to win its final two games to really have a shot at the playoffs...but Hillsburgh and QC don't want to cooperate with that plan.

18) In San Jose Pimpin Aint Easy 5-9 17
I'm looking forward to seeing what this team can do next season.

19) Iqaluit Arctic Wolves 6-8 19
Six wins is at least respectable. At least they aren't as bad as Portsmouth.

20) Calgary Wrestlers 6-8 20
For not having as much talent on paper, they sure put up a good fight this season.

21) Flint Tropics 6-8 21
Hey, they've got a cool avatar.

22) Cold Lake Wolverines 6-8 22
New owner doing a good job with the team...now if only it'd translate to a win. Who ever thought they'd be here after starting 6-0?

23) Toronto Smoke 3-11 23
Playing really good right now. Watch out if you have to play them.

24) Saskatoon Guerillas 5-9 24
Just the opposite of the Smoke, they are playing their worst football right now.

25) Destruction Bay Dragons 5-9 25
They've got some pieces for next season.

26) Portsmouth Cavaliers 5-9 26
If they have some pieces, they'll probably lose them in the offseason.

27) Kelowna Outlaws 1-13 27
28) Barkmere Bulldawgs 2-12 28
29) Quebec Boreal 2-12 29
30) Bloodwesier Bugle All Stars 1-13 30
31) Castlegar Crusaders 0-14 31
32) Peterborough Preachers 0-14 32

I know Dan is the owner for our squad... but I think we haven't proven anything against the last 2 big games we've played and we're actually rated a bit too high (even if we have just 2 losses). We've played flat on both sides of the ball and there's a slew of teams that are under us that can beat us if we keep playing like we have.

We're technically still in the #1 Seed Dan. There's a weird situation where Halifax beat us, Sudbury beat Halifax and we beat Sudbury, so it goes to total points. We have the most points scored of the three teams, so if we win out we could still finish with the #1 seed.

Though i do agree with Rock, we probably have the most to prove of any of the top 4 Eastern Conference teams.
