we learned our lesson about teams that boost right before the stretch where they play both the Hitmen and us (which happens to be our next 3 opponents as well).

we saw what happens if a team boosts and catches some breaks. it enables them to squeak out a 3-point win and ruin a season!

we'll be beating the rest of the teams on our schedule. you can count on that.

what we need is for the Hitmen to wind up in your side of the bracket in the playoffs so that they can beat you in the rematch and grant us the home playoff game we may have lost to you.

don't worry, we can always play a friendly do decide the 'how it would have gone' outcome

Nice game today Hitmen. You shut our running game down for the most part. We will figure it out before the playoffs I hope. We face the Spartans next... it is good to be in a league were the talent and competition is this good.

was a battle. i just finished watching it and i was pretty impressed by your defense. it was very good i think. pretty sure you guys will be finishing 12-4 and that's a really nice record. see you in the playoffs

my goal (i posted this in our forums) was to hold him to single digit broken tackles. we ended up with only 1 missed tackle on the game. so that strategy worked out. part of it was your offensive gameplan though - you threw a little more than i had expected and bullrush wasn't quite able to get going. but when he did get the ball we really flew around trying to get to him.

I was confident leaving our secondary out there on an island most of the game in order to stop the run. worked out this time... might not the next.

clearly you're a tough team though and if you can run the ball and play good D you have a shot in any game. that's in any football game from NFL to high school to madden.

Well, we assumed you'd be looking to Bullrush and threw the ball... of course.. then the double bluff comes in and you can end up in a right old tangle wondering if you've second guessed us....

Would we have done better with our usual gameplan? Impossible to say, but that's the fun of the game.

Bullrush played to the game plan hoping to pull off an unlikely V for the team.

i know we have had a LOT of trouble stopping the run this year. our pass defense has been pretty spectacular, but our run defense is suspect at best. we have been working on patching it up, but it's still a work in progress. good luck for the rest of the season.
