My Guard just had "19" pancakes in one game !!!

Just curious if there are game records kept or anything...

Who cares pancakes mean nothing other than you were playing a weak team.

Well one, if they dont mean anything, why is that stat kept ???

2. The team we beat was even with us...

3. The topic was more on if game records were kept...

A level 8 DT with 29 str is a player that's even with you? You must have a very low opinion of your player if you think a guy half your level is even with you.

ok, last edit. I've seen players with over 100 pancakes in one game.

1) pancakes are meaningless to the team
2) pancakes are often a function of how many points you *wasted* in the pancake special ability
3) pancakes are even more a function of your opponent
4) pancakes are a function of your position

etc

Sure, we all get excited with 30 pancakes in a game, but you've gotta realize every player in your position would have too, probably. Most o-linemen end up with very similar builds, so unless you try something RADICALLY different, it is about how smart you are building from a mathematical standpoint...

hmm

The problem is there really isn't another stat for o-lineman to keep. I'd like to see sacks/hurries allowed, but that hasn't been implemented yet. Pancakes aren't worthless, but they are certainly not a way to base if your o-lineman is doing a good job or not. And there is a game records thread somewhere, if the search function worked I'd find it for you.

That's not totally true. If you have good speed/agility, you can block a second guy out of the play after pancaking your first guy.
