(Barcelona, Spain) - The Barcelona Chupacabras secured two very important pieces to their offensive puzzle today.
They secured QB Gunner Stahl to a long term contract and C Bela Vegh also signed as well.
The owner had the following to say, "Well, Gunner and Bela are two very important pieces to the offense of the Chupacabras. Today we were able to secure that they would be with Barcelona for awhile now.
I have actually started contacting several agents and have posted several messages here recently so we can start securing more pieces of the offense and defense long term. This way we can pay for their equipment and help them upgrade the team and themselves at the same time. Any agent who reaches level 8, 16, or 24 is eligible to receive a contract extension and signing bonus to help pay for the equipment. Obviously, we would like to secure as many players as we can, but the ball is in the agent's court. They let me know what they need when they hit those levels and if I can do it and commit to them, then they help the team more and commit to the team."
It will be interesting over the next several days to see how many players/agents are willing to secure their future with the club. The owner expects everyone to be interested in being a Chupacabra for a very long time.
