maybe I'm doing something wrong but we were not supposed to run goalline against Sparta's goaline outside of the 5 yd line. I even tested it in the defense AI tester and it selected what I had, base 3-4. But in the game I ran goalline D everywhere. Sure wish they'd get these bugs fixed. Anybody else having this issue?

Shame, too, because I was really looking forward to seeing how the 3-4 would hold up against the GLO.

Sparta can kill you no matter what defense you run.

I agree and I'm not complaining. I just didn't want to run Goalline in the middle of the field.

Have you posted on bug forums yet? It seems there should be a way to tell the defense not to run it just because the offense does...

The AI can be very finicky. I had to slim down the number of plays to isolate any problems.

it just doesn"t explain why the defense AI gets it right but the sim doesn"t. I did post about it in the bug forum. Looks like I'm not the only one with the problem though

I will help you out Rybread. Make me a GM on your team and I will look at your AI and see what is wrong

LOL don't tempt me. It's not that big of a deal. either the tester is flawed or the sim is. I maybe should have changed it from "between any spot and my 5" to "opponent 5 to my 5". Strange stuff.

Anyway, I'm cool about the game. I doubt we would have won regardless but I've just seen some strange stuff with the sim and wanted to know if my closest coaches experienced the same kinds of things.

Ah, you guys played a great game...but I know how frustrating it can be when things wont do what you want them too. Glad you realize it's all a game, so things like that happen. Hopefully it will get fixed soon and the problem wont persist.

I don't think Garidan runs the GL offense assuming there is a flaw and it goes towards our advantage. I think he does it because our team is built for it...

Anyway, it really was a great game and your receivers worked us over, they caught pretty much anything thrown withing 50 yards

yeah I was pretty happy with the passing game. You guys have a tough rush defense. I was hoping we could run the ball a little better. Glad we have a good passing game. Well it's gotten better anyway.

I'm not disappointed in the game at all. I'm just disappointed in the AI not following directions.

I think your QB had a magic bullet because our CB's were on you tight. That was actually the best coverage that our secondary has played to date. Oh well, I guess everyone is still rounding out there players in the capped leaugue so things like that are to be expected.
