You couldn't ask for better storylines for each of the matchups. Any way we can ensure these come playoff time?

2-7 Salty Dogs at Hashishim

Well there's been plenty of publicized bad blood between the teams. Calling Halifax out being met with a resounding win for the Assassins. Was it bugged or wasn't? Followed by another callout this week. This is a matchup made in heaven. (Or hell if you're a Dogs fan).

3-6 Canadiens at HuskerManiacs

Probably one of, if not the most stunning upsets in Canada A6's short history. I know Nebraska will be gunning for them in a rematch, and Montreal will be out to prove they have what it takes "now that the bugs are fixed."

4-5 Spartans at Air Force

Two great teams who've been duking it out all season for the final spot awarding homefield advantage. Sudbury's loss was by a narrow 6 point margin...you know they've had this matchup in mind since 10:01 in week 2.

1-8 Blue Elk at Black Cats
An elite team last season, Red Deer has struggled a little more than they probably expected in the second year of the league. What better way to let everyone else in the know you're not ready to become a has been quite yet with a victory over Queen City. I know if this is how the standings shake out, I'll be rooting for them.

Interesting.

Which part's interesting? If it's the last sentence, it doesn't strike me as all that interesting that if we were the #2 seed, we'd be happy to see the #1 out of the mix. Homefield advantage throughout the playoffs equals a lot of cash.

The Air Force still has an advantage over Halifax and Nebraska... Air Force has already played Queen City, while Halifax and Nebraska haven't... uh oh...

EDIT: And I'd like to add that if either of those teams, or anyone else for that matter is able to upset Queen City, I'm going to be extremely surprised and impressed!

That's some extremely nice words and believe me when I say I don't think the 41-10 game is indicative of how good I think Cheyenne is. Halifax and Nebraska has some studs on their team and all I'm gonna say is that it's gonna be a dogfight and we'll give it our all.

If I was the #2 seed, I'd want #1 out too, regardless of who it was. QC would like to keep homefield advantage though, so we'll try our best and hopefully things will fall in line for us. There are plenty of good, worthy teams in the East.
