I've done some Alaskan hooking in my day. Nice 70 lb halibut out of the ocean. Tons of trout here in town. Still never hooked me a salmon though.

shoooot...we need to talk kory. i spent my childhood growing up on a halibut charter.

best damn meal you ever had...we go out in the morning, drop crab pots and shrimp pots. spend the day out in some of our favorite spots pullin up halibut, then go back in, scoop the pots, clean em on our way back in, run up the pier and buy some clams from the diggers who were selling, then head around town to the cliffs to pull in our set nets full of silvers...then go back to the boat and cook it all up.

best damn food ever.

I'm not the biggest an of seafood, but I've grown to love it in my old age. And I must say Koldy that that sounds like a dinner of the ages.

I'm going to SoCal in January I think Kory, we should meet up and grab a brew or something. (no homo)

I have nice 40+ pound salmon on my resume up here in northern cali. Of course they shut down our salmon fishing this year (BASTAGES). I went down to San Diego for some Tuna fishing. That was a BLAST.

Michael Strahan reports -

"...we'll keep an eye on how they go on. Joining us again, Loose Start. How are things Loose?"

"Pretty good thanks Michael, we cleaned the place up and got rid of that fishy smell. Now we're just waiting for the season to start."

"You've got the Goldrush on opening day, how's that one going to go?"

"Yeah, that could go either way. Two teams that are always in the mix at the end of the season. This season won't be any different and it should be a great game."

"The SSM owner has been quoted as saying one wrong move for either team could cost the game. Do you go with that?"

"I certainly do, more often than not we match each other yard for yard, this one will go to whoever makes the least mistakes."

"What are the targets for the season Loose?"

"Same as always Michael, we'll be looking to hit the play-offs and take it from there. I think a home game is a viable target, of course....once you're there, you've gotta look at winning it but we've gotta make sure we get there first."

"Some new talent in the squad now. How are they fitting in?"

"Doing good, our offensive line improved, we got a bit more beef to our defense, we're quietly confident for the season ahead."

"Well good luck Loose and we'll catch up with you again at some point. Join us as we return and are joined by Portland's favourite son..."
